We had the most amazing holiday weekend at The Bach in Kaimaumau. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. Kristy and Roger, our friendly hosts, made our stay truly special. They were always available for any questions or concerns, yet respected our privacy completely. The Bach itself was a delightful holiday rental, equipped with everything we could possibly need. The amenities were top-notch, including WiFi, a smart TV, hot water, dehumidifiers, heaters, and a fully functional kitchen with an oven, microwave, and fridge. The cozy house had a calming view, nestled in the peaceful rural surroundings. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, allowing us to relax and recharge. The location couldn't have been better for exploring the stunning attractions of the great north of New Zealand. We were able to visit iconic landmarks and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the area. Our 7-year-old daughter had a fantastic time too! We highly recommend The Bach to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat and memorable getaway. The warm hospitality of Kristy and Roger, combined with the well-equipped and comfortable accommodation, made our experience truly exceptional. We would give it 5 out of 5 stars without hesitation.

Having stayed at quite a few different locations in the far north, this was by far the best! Super friendly host, bach had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Easy access to some of the most stunning beaches in the world. Fishing wasn't bad either!

A beautiful spot who would have known. So glad it was the holidays with accommodation being so hard to get at such short notice but we were so lucky to secure this little hide away with such a terrific hostess by the name of Kirsty. Fantastic holiday home! It had everything we needed, even to keep the kids (8 and 12) entertained on a rainy day. The attention to detail was impressive, making it super comfortable and stress-free. A perfect spot if you’re visiting the far, far north – highly recommend!

We had wonderful two days at The Bach. Kristy made us feel very welcome and the place was fantastic. The beds are confortable, the litchen is stocked, and the location right next to the ocean is fantastic. Couldn't ask for more. :)

Very fine place, we would have liked to stay for a few time longer. In that case, we would have liked a little bit more equipment in the kitchen, I. e a real table and chairs.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. We are from Auckland so coming here was a great escape from the hustle and bustle. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay. Such a cosy and very comfortable bach with everything we needed. So peaceful and picturesque, staying on a farm property, with beautiful views of the sea. The hosts are great - very welcoming, helpful and friendly - they made us feel at home and went above & beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Awesome kiwi hospitality!
