Hen Golchdy : Pet-Friendly 2‑Bed Cottage in Aberffraw | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings

Had a wonderful stay at Hen Golchdy. The communication from Anglesey lettings was excellent the app they sent with all the information was so helpful. The cottage itself was perfect ,exceptionally clean and had everything you could possibly need,the cottage is not too far from the beach so the car was not always needed,little shop nearby,local pub and handy tea room. Aberffraw is a lovely place with a stunning beach Superb place to stay if you have dogs or children Would definitely book again.

Back to hen goltchdy yet again it's lovely and cosy superb beds and showers a great kitchen area and lounge Sure to be back next year Thanks AHL

Hen Golchdy is a very comfortable cottage with great facilities, well equipped and only a couple of minutes walk to the near by tea rooms.

We had great week. Excellent cottage. Good location for exploring Anglesey. Watch sheep and RAF planes from the windows! Easy to find and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Great cafe on site. Could do with a few finishing touches like a shelf in both bathrooms and somewhere to hang your clothes - there is no wardrobe in either bedroom.

The cottage was spacious and comfortable, in a great location and has good facilities on site too. Will definitely book again.

Positives:- - Nice location - Good parking - Well equiped property - Warm, powerful showers in both Ibathrooms Improvements:- - Inadequate lighting outside and in car parking area - a personal injury claim waiting to happen! - Key safe difficult to open - Few snagging issues/minor maintenance updates needed

Lovely place, ideal for 2 or 4. Administration team very good, provided all necessary information in advance. Lovely coffee shop with small bar, but sadly only open until 4 pm. Local shop in village not very well stocked, but local pub very welcoming. Lovely walks, dogs were very settled, and we had everything we needed in the property - it was well thought out. Would highly recommend, lots of sheep to watch, beautiful beach and coastline.

All the facilities in the cottage were exactly as stated. Communication was excellent . I would definitely return

We stayed for 3 nights, two adults a teenager and a dog. The cottage was the perfect size for us and with both rooms having a en suite there was no waiting for the bathroom! There are a couple of maintenance issues in the double bed bathroom but nothing that affected our stay. There was milk, biscuits and some tea coffee etc on arrival which is always good. The only downside was there is no where to hang clothes in the double room just drawers. which isn't a huge issue of you're only there for a couple of days but any longer you need at least a rail like in the twin room The beautiful beach is a 5 minute walk from the property, we spent the whole day there with a picnic and its dog friendly. You will need a car to explore further and Rhosniegr is only a few minutes away by car. We had dinner at the Oyster Catcher in their dog friendly snug. The cafe on site closes at 4pm and isn't open at the beginning of the week even in high season which was a shame. The day it rained we went to visit Halen Mon Seasalt which was really cute, lovely little cafe, shop and tours. Then Beaumaris for breakfast on checkout day as its on the way off the island. We had a lovely break, the property is just perfect for a few days away and a really great price for peak season too.

This is our 4th.visit to this complex and we always enjoy our time there. Just being picky when I say the living area chairs are not too comfortable plus a dishwasher and washing machine would make it 100%.

I had a wonderful time, every thing was excellent . I only had one problem I didn't know there were steps inside the one to the twin bedroom was a bit high for me but I overcame it with an extra step. I loved the visiting lambs!!! Also could have done a bit of grass for my Princess she wasn't keen on the slate, also a little hard to pick up all the other cottages had grass. But I throughly enjoyed my time there.
