Best of Both Worlds on Swan Pond in Dennisport

We loved the location on Swan Pond and used the kayaks most days. The deck and backyard offered every kind of dining and relaxing place to fit the time of day or desire to be near the house or the water. The house was clean with newly renovated bedrooms downstairs and the shower was great. The main downside is the kitchen which is cramped, lacks a stove hood and toaster, and has just too much stuff packed into every cabinet. Also, I’d suggest fixing the deck sliding door which didn’t work very well, and please provide switched light near the entry which was pitch dark upon coming in at night. Overall a good pace to stay and thanks to the owner for answering every question very quickly.

The hosts were great! The house was clean and cute a perfect cape cod escape! And the location was perfect and the views especially in the morning were great!

Great house in a great setting on Swan Pond. Excellent communication with owner, easy check in process, and the house is clean and comfortable. We loved using the kayaks to explore the pond. It was the perfect place to spend our two weeks on Cape Cod.

We rented the home for 21 days with our 3 teens for a total of 5 guests. Homeowners very responsive & helpful from start to finish! Home looks exactly like pictures. Great location. Kids loved using the kayaks & canoes! Everything you can imagine is stocked in the home & anything you need for beach is in basement. Having a washer & dryer there was so convenient as a family of 5 for such a long stay as we needed to use it several times. Linens & towels fresh & clean. Beds were comfortable. The one and ONLY thing I would mention that needs improvement are the air conditioners in the kitchen & loft area. They really need cleaning or replacements. I also wanted to add, neighbors across the street are so kind. My 14 yr old son got a fishing hook stuck in his finger and they came out to assist. Ended up calling an ambulance and sending him to the hospital. EMS in Dennisport very kind, quick & professional as well. Got the hook right out in Cape Cod Hospital (only 15 min away) and he was fishing again that same day. nobody ever thinks about emergencies while on vacation but good to know the hospital is nearby.I would stay here again! This was a great little cottage, with such a gorgeous view of the lake in the back. It was nice and clean and well-decorated, and the kitchen and game closet were fully stocked. The outdoor spaces with the hammock were really enjoyable. My favorite part was kayaking out to the tidal river, where we saw so many different birds and sea life. The only suggestion I can make is that master bedroom mattress was starting to sag and might need an update/flip, but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! A wonderful location, just a short drive to the beach and various restaurants but in a nice quiet neighborhood. I definitely recommend this lovely spot on the cape.

Perfect location! The house and property itself is gorgeous, and prefect for a family with busy kiddos that want to explore. Would love to stay again.

The house was perfect for the 7 of us. We loved using the kayaks and fire pit. We had everything we needed to enjoy beautiful weather outside. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and offered the essentials for cooking. I always appreciate having spices and basic oils so that we don't have to purchase such things. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved our stay on Indian Trail. The house looks small from the outside but it is very spacious with 4 bedrooms. It is very clean, quiet and extremely comfortable with every amenity you could want. The view over Swan Pond is gorgeous and we spent many happy hours sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. It is in a great location for visiting all areas of the Cape which we did. There are lots of really good local eateries nearby. If you enjoy canoeing and boating this is a perfect spot. We would highly highly recommend this property and . communication with John was great.

WE loved everything about the house. I can't think of anything that would be lacking in amenities. My husband had just had a major surgery so he recuperated in place while we visited the cape. He had a wonderful spot to watch osprey, egrets, swans geese etc. The house was very clean and although I seemed to have a VRBO glitch John rectified matters in top time. Thank you!

This cozy home was an amazing place to spend a week with my family. The yard was perfect for us plus our extended family to play and visit. The plethora of watercraft and lifevests made our time on the pond so relaxing. Great location, well appointed home. Highly recommend!!

House was beautifully situated on a saltwater pond. Found horseshoe crabs and blue crabs all week. Lots of nice outdoor spaces to hang out and kayaks, canoe to use as well. House was as described and clean. We would certainly consider this house again. Thank you.
