Barton Manor is a quiet tranquil setting perfectly designed for guests looking for a relaxing break surrounded by a mixture of history, architecture and wildlife/sports. Children under the age of 15 are not allowed due to the tranquil setting the owners have created, however permission on occasion maybe granted from the owners.

Barton Manor stands in a very beautiful part of West Sussex between a stunning coastline and the glorious Goodwood Downs. Just a 20-minute drive is the beautiful historic market town of Arundel, most famous for Arundel Castle, home of the Duke of Norfolk, but also captures the essence of heritage and urban chic. The nearby City of Chichester boasting one of the finest Cathedrals in the area has lots to offer with a wonderful array of coffee lounges and the very best in high quality shopping. Founded in Roman times, the whole area is steeped in history, and with the famous Chichester Festival Theatre, Goodwood and its horse and motor racing events, plus of course Chichester marina and harbour the area has something to offer everyone. There are three Sailing Clubs close to Barton Manor, which offer boat hire and courses with the Isle of Wight only minutes away.

Closest to Barton Manor is the village and beaches of Pagham. Famous for its nature reserve where bird spotters enjoy an abundance of birdlife. There are also many walks and cycle rides on relatively flat footpaths that criss-cross the area and offer wonderful views out across the Channel. A short drive away is the cosmopolitan city of Brighton to the east, Portsmouth to the west, and ferry trips can be taken to the Isle of Wight. National Trust-owned estates in the area include Goodwood House, Parham Park, The Royal Pavilion, Petworth House, Stanstead Park and East Dean. Beach 1 mile. Pub and restaurant 60 yards.
