Just what you want for a seaside holiday. A few steps to a huge sandy beach and a quaint pub. Located at the quiet end of Shanklin Esplanade with no cars passing by because it is a no-through road. The house is beautifully decorated and characterful - you instantly feel relaxed. Everything you need has been provided and in excellent condition. The best bit is the two comfy chairs in the bay window with a cracking view.

A wonderful much needed winter get away. Warm, comfy, clean and cosy accommodation- so lovely to wake in the morning to the sunshine coming through and to look out on such a lovely view of the sea. Great as a base for walks along the coastal paths either to Yaverland or Ventnor.

Had a lovely holiday at Chine Bluff with an amazing view of the sea. Lovely location, very helpful owners when the oven broke.

Chine Bluff was very light, comfortable, clean, very well-equipped, and had the most wonderful sea views. My son and I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for a week with our 9 month old baby. We had been told there would be a travel cot, when we arrived we couldn't find it. Eventually found it after calling Emma, but there was no mattress. However, Emma quickly provided one and that was the only hiccup - if travelling with a baby it's worth calling in advance to confirm! The house itself was great. Location was excellent, beautiful beach views, only 5-10mins walk from the village (although up a very steep hill) The house was clean, and equipped with everything we needed for the week. I would highly recommend for a couple, or for a family with 1-2 children. We will certainly book again.

wonderful cottage. Two serious oppotunities for improvement: some kind of coffee-maker/-machine and (better) curtains in the main bedroom (because it's hard to sleep well when the morning sun is shining on your face)
