The cottage was lovely the only thing we struggled with was walking the Dog after dark. Personally for us we need more of an enclosed garden to let the dog loose. But apart from that the cottage was nice and comfortable and close to Alston. We would go back but maybe in the summer months when we can easily walk out after 5pm.
