Stayed Jan 18, 2026Very close for skiing at Palisades Tahoe. The place was very clean on arrival, bed was comfortable, heating worked well. Check in and out was a breeze. The heated floor in the bathroom was an unexpected plus. The only possible issue is that I could have used utensils and a plate, but that was easily fixed. I would definitely return.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great - right where we needed to be. The view was wonderful. The property is showing its age, but was clean. Two concerns: the cleaning fee was unexpected and quite high considering the short stay and only the bed and 2 hand towels used; also there was no hot water for showers or hand washing. I hope that gets repaired.

It is right on the beach so a fabulous swimming spot !! The condo was very comfortable and in good condition!

We received an upgrade to a nicer unit which was so kind. The bed was very comfortable. Place was as advertised. Communication with the company was very easy! 100% recommend.

Reviewer Comments: Been going to Tahoe every summer for decades, always staying at the Kingswood Condos, since lots of kids in tow. Accomodations here were fine for two of us. Easy access, nice quiet waterfront, good place to dine and drink. We remember it as the Old Captain Jon,s, which was a bit pricey back in the day.Would recco this place highly

Manager was super nice and helpful when I made the reservation. I can't wait to go back. The only thing that I didn't really like was that the maid knocked and did not wait for a response before walking into the room.
