The up and coming Roma neighborhood holds many places that have become absolute classics of the city, and this gorgeous top floor apartment is just a stone’s throw away from the best of the area.

Walk inside the building’s gates and the inner patio will transport you right back to the Mexican colonial era through its architecture and beautiful details, creating a stunning contrast with the modern urban landscape of the rest of the city.

This apartment once belonged to a talented Spanish photographer who often found inspiration for his work in this cozy, vintage home. Go up the stairs to the beautiful terrace surrounded by plants and flowers to take in the sights as you enjoy a good talk with friends, or just stay indoors and relax after a busy day.

The place has a spacious living room area, an equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a service room. Both bedrooms and the living room have floor to ceiling windows with small balconies, making this space a well illuminated one.

If you’re coming to a country full of history such as Mexico, why not stay in a place with a rich history itself

Lovely little place in a safe area. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars. Master bedroom is large, the second bedroom is tiny but comfortable. Coffee was provided for which we were grateful! The shower was truly clean - a real bonus. We had coffee and played cards on the rooftop. I'd definitely say that the owners should dump the ragged sofa up there though. I'd recommend this apartment for sure.

Beautiful apartment in central location. Loved staying here and would recommend it for those traveling to CDMX.

At first, things were looking good. The neighborhood is good, but as soon as we walked into the apartment it was obvious that the photos on the listing were very misleading. Most of the plants and decoration, including all the plants in the window sills in the photos, were not there. Much of the furniture in the photos, not there. The furniture that was there, was extremely dirty and stained. You would not want to sit anywhere. The outside patio is not private and looks nothing like the photos. It was a dirty disheveled mess, with the one couch on the patio full of stains, dirt, and mold. The main bedroom was full of mosquitos and other little bugs on the walls. They had left some windows open, of course there would be tons of mosquitos. We took photos and immediately left the property, having to find another place to spend the night. We are seasoned travelers and have stayed in VRBOs for years throughout the world. This is the first negative review we have had to give. Save yourselves, do not stay here!

This was our first visit to Mexico City and we had a terrific ‘get acquainted’ visit! This unit worked great for us. The size and upgrades were perfect. The bed was terrific and the bedroom set up worked great to have a t.v. And, we fell in love with the location. The only draw back was the street noise so I bought ear plugs. We enjoyed it and would recommend it. Thank you!

We loved our stay at the apartment and in Roma Norte. Unfortunately, there were small things that would did impact our experience such as mosquitos (no screens on windows), a poor smell coming from the sink, very loud road noise, and the trash not being taken out as regularly as we thought it would. The host was wonderful and attentive (even escorted me to the doctor to help me communicate) but did give us a lot of confidence in finding a sitter and tourist bookings that didn't quite pan out. All and all, a lovely place run by truly great people. We'll cherish our memories there for sure.

The stay was great. The location is nice, the neighborhood was quiet. The apartment doesn’t have AC and can get quite hot. Mosquitos were an issue so keeping the doors windows open in the bedroom was not ideal

We had a great time at the flat. The location is super-convenient, centrally located on a tree-lined street with shops & restaurants nearby. It was very clean and Frida (property manager) was a pleasure to deal with. The busy location means it’s a bit noisy (traffic noise) at night and —typical for Mexico City — there’s no A/C so it can be hard to drown out the noise. Bring earplugs! Otherwise, I completely recommend.

We enjoyed this adorable apartment. The check-in process was efficcient. Although we had a little mixup waiting to enter. I did my best to estimate our arrival time through customs, backage check, traffic, etc., and arrived about 30 min. early. So we waited about 20 min to be let in. Not a huge deal but in hindsight having the phone number in advance would have been handy. Tha apartment was cozy with lots of charm. I think because of the season (January) there were no plants as are depicted in the numerous pictures. The beds were very comfortable and everything that you might need has been thought of; washer and dryer, quality toiletries, coffee, elegant cistern for filtering drinking water. The two small issues, were no mention of the 33 stairs in a very tight squeeze required to get to the apartment. It was a herculean task to get our substantially heavy luggage up and down the stairs. I will say that after six days, I felt my fitness improved by having to walk up and down a few times each day! Just be mindful for those coming from sea level, Mexico City is at 7300 ft., You might need to take it slow at first. The other small issue was that the living room furniture, although beautiful and stylish, was not comfortable for me and my back. I ended up spending my sitting time in a kitchen chair. All in all, it as delightful, just be mindful that you will need to get your luggage up/down 33 winding steps.

We will definitely be back to stay here. It gave us a respite from the hustle of the city but still close to everything!

Safe, historic and trendy neighborhood. Great apartment with a beautiful roof top social area overlooking part of downtown. Tons of great restaurants within walking distance. Dog park close by with the statue of David. Our favorite bar right around the corner was Las Brujas.
