Nice modern property Kitchen accessories and towels etc were minimal Location was central, but location noisy One morning we were woken with a loud political parade with hundreds of. People at 6am right outside our window which lasted all day. I wish we had been moved to a room farther off the street

Our flat was beautifully appointed with two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen and dining area, all for a very agreeable price. There is a washer and drier available on the main floor but you must provide your own detergent (they did not provide laundry service). We had the street-facing unit and both bedrooms had balconies. This is great for letting in air on hot days (no A/C), but the street noise and exhaust might be too much for some. I slept with foam ear plugs so I could leave the doors open. My traveling partner closed his doors at night for quiet. I grew up in a city so I found the bustle a bit nostalgic and liked the air coming in. Floor fans are provided. I am giving four stars since I think it is a four star facility. If you want a five star accommodation I suggest you try an upscale hotel on the Reforma. We were two guys who wanted separate rooms and something affordable and walking distance from the Zócalo. It was minutes by foot to the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, the Temple Mayor Museum and many rooftop restaurants as well as the Palace de Bellas Artes and Alameda Central Park. It was quite convenient and the February weather was perfect. We took an Uber to get to more distant locations such as the North bus terminal to get to Teotihuacan. There is a nice restaurant, Los Girasoles, with outdoor seating just around the corner on a lively plaza in front of the National Museum of Art where you can while away the evening hours. There is an OXXO right downstairs with all the bottled water you need (and coffee for the coffee maker) and it was open pretty late. It was highly convenient! Remember, if you are not from Mexico, don't drink the water. We used bottled water to drink, brush teeth, wash faces. We used the lovely showers and tap water for washing only. But we kept the water out of our mouths! And we used copious amounts of hand sanitizer daily. No issues. I know several people who made the mistake of accepting a drink with ice in it, or eating salad washed in water and uncooked -- all got seriously sick for several days. Avoid the city water in all its forms and you will be fine. If you are an English speaker and do not speak Spanish, be prepared to translate -- a smart phone works great for this! We did fine but the clowns in Alameda Park had a good time making fun of us! All in all this was a wonderful adventure -- Teotihuacan was the highlight. World class history here in the same time zone as Chicago.

The place was nicely furnished. It is in the historic part of the city and walking to the main attractions is easy (10 min to zócalo or bellas artes) Bed were comfy and living room comfortable for a family of 5 😃

We loved our stay in this new, modern and charming apartment. You will not miss anything from the comforts of a contemporary place with a bit of charm from Mexico. The location is simply unbeatable; as it has coffee, restaurants, museums and major sites within walking distance. The service is outstanding! Livia welcomed us and replied to every concern and question we had while we were down there. The place is secure and there is an OXXO (convenience store) right below the apartment. I recommend you go to Cafe Tacuba while down there. If you are there for business, Palacio de Bellas Artes is right around the corner. The place is fresh (we stayed in August) and if you open the windows even more. There is a small bar a few doors down so as the description states, this is not a place for a light sleeper. But with the windows closed and the fan On, you will sleep like a king/queen.
