This apartment is exceptional. It is located between the Bellas Artes and the Plaza de la Constitution in the Centro district, within walking distance of numerous fine restaurants and many attractions. The apartment is in a lovely old building and overlooks the city skyline. It has a lovely main room with terrace around two sides, a well apportioned kitchen and lovely fine art and folk art making it feel like a place you want to come home to.The hostess is wonderful and has a lovely continental breakfast laid out every morning, with fruit, breads and pastries, and coffee or teas to choose from. The apartment is cleaned daily. Information about the surrounding area is there to help plan your adventures, and Petra is very knowledgeable about the restaurants and places to visit, and very helpful with anything you might need. The apartment is accessed by elevator, so people with disabilities can enjoy it too.We will definitely come back here again and again.

We are world travelers, but first time to Mexico City. We were more than impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness in the City. Petra, our host was the unexpected treat on top of a wonderful trip. She treated us as valued friends. She shared recommendations, and information. And took us to her friend’s home for the Dia de Muertos. We were very generously included with traditional Food and full view of the grand parade! The apartment is in the center of all the events and festivities. Culturally adorned, with all the amenities imaginable. Very spacious, a family could comfortably reside. We loved our Mexican adventure and especially our host, Petra.

The place is awesome, just like Petra and her staff. Super clean and very comfortable. You are in the middle of the world class city that is CDMX. Museums, galleries, theatres, bars, restaurants, shopping. Dios mío! I will be back. Gracias Petra por todo.

Stayed for a birthday celebration with friends and had an absolutely great time! Petra could not have been better as a host and as our guide. We enjoyed our time there, including the rainstorm that unfortunately cut our tour short. This was more than made up for by the cook she set up for us to have the most relaxing and delicious dinner in the penthouse. I would highly recommend.

It was elegant! I really did not want to stay at a hotel, and I had stayed at a very nice AirB&B in San Miguel, so I thought I'd try a stay in DF--It was truly wonderful, clean, well kept and very stylish with great views. Could not have been better. James K. Cunningham

We spent a week in the penthouse and absolutely loved it. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own room and spacious living areas. We loved the location in the Centro Historico district and could easily walk to the Tempo Mayor and the Palacios de Bellas Artes. Great communication with Petra and she was very helpful in helping us plan private tours.

Our first time visiting Mexico City and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The location, comfort and beauty of this historical property are outstanding. Easy, safe and convenient to access everything in the historic district on foot, and Uber rides to sites further out are plentiful and inexpensive. Petra is a wealth of knowledge and superb host. Highly recommend her walking tour your first day to get the “lay of land.” Informative, fun and will save you a lot of time trying to figure things out on your own. We also took the cooking class (fantastic), and day trips to Puebla and Teotihuacan - exceptional. Highly recommend this property and all that goes with it!

Absolutely beautiful apartment! Well located for cultural and tourist sites and events. Safest neighborhood in Mexico City. Secure building. Only negative is that water pressure in old building was weak sometimes in 2 of 3 bathrooms. The owner, Petra, is a gem and does everything to make the experience perfect: purified water in jugs and kitchen sink, bed warmers, space heaters, beautiful artwork, good food for breakfast, other foods available for minimal cost, and a link to wonderful driver and guides. Example: she set up a mescal tasting IN the apartment with a delightful man, then brought her cook in to make food so we wouldn’t be drinking alcohol on empty stomachs.

The penthouse is beautiful and views were stunning! Can literally see Bellas Artes from balcony. Next door to the historic home of ex President Santana. In the middle of everything you can need. Bathrooms were perfect and for a family of 4, it was so big that there were no arguments about bathrooms or space. Fresh delicious bread was delivered daily. I broke my ankle at a karaoke bar, and Petra did everything in her ability to help us during the September 15 celebration and day after parade. She went above and beyond a host and made us feel taken care of. We will definitely be back once I heal and finish our vacation.
