Villa Retreat - secluded relaxation

The host has put so much care into every detail. The place is very clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. We truly enjoyed our stay. The beautiful garden was a highlight, and the host kindly showed us around. A wonderful experience!

Very clean, comfortable property.

The property was a delightful suite located on a beautiful property. The hosts, Annette and Kerry were warm and welcoming and the cookies and muffins delicious. The suite itself had everything we needed and was spotless and very comfortable. Annette and Kerry’s garden is really lovely, and provided a serene, quiet and very private setting for our stay. It was easy to get to Mt. Taraniki for Hikes and the beaches of New Plymouth for swimming. We would highly recommend this property.

Ideal place for short stay great host

we found no fault what so ever with this B&B host were very warm and inviting people the villa had everything we needed the gardens were beautiful very peaceful we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this property to everybody

Our stay was lovely...perfect situation for us. We would thoroughly recommend. However, due to a road accident our arrival was delayed 5 hrs. I could NOT get a message through to our host via Bookabach.

We stayed for one night on our way home to Auckland from Wellington. Annette and her husband are welcoming hosts. She helped us with dinner recommendations and things to do. Their garden knowledge is fantastic and they were very happy to share their knowledge and experience with us. A lovely relaxing place with a very comfy bed and atmosphere.

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely boutique-style accommodation and were thoroughly impressed. The space was clean, inviting, and beautifully presented. Despite our late arrival, the lights were on, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A thoughtful message on the welcome board and a delightful selection of biscuits waiting for us made us feel right at home.The continental breakfast was delicious, adding to the overall experience. We booked on short notice due to unfortunate circumstances, but Annette was incredibly accommodating and kind, going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable.We can honestly find no fault with our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a relaxing, welcoming retreat. So many helpful & personal details made this a top notch experience. From noticing the red mailbox upon entering the property, directional signs, a personalized welcome greeting, all made me feel very comfortable and appreciated. Details in the suite itself, such as crown and chair molding, up to date appliances and fixtures, the softest blanket I ever felt, made this special. And clean? My goodness! Clean as a whistle! I was invited to explore the gardens, and enjoyed them immensely. Here again, nothing was out of place. One of the best accommodations I have ever had. 5+
