The apartment is prominently located within Birmingham’s Business District fronting Newhall Street close to its junction with Great Charles Street.
Property comprises of a spacious double bedroom, tiled bathroom, kitchen & lounge, ideal for City professionals.
Walking distant to St. Pauls Square, New Street and Snow Hill railway stations, surrounded by bars and restaurants.
Was given entry instructions 24hrs ahead of arrival and stated entry after 3 pm then got another email later with same instructions stating entry after 1 pm. When arrived at 1:20 pm entry instructions were wrong to get into the building. Figuring it out on our own we got into the building. Entrance was dirty, musty smell and we walked over mail and garbage to get to the stairs. Code to enter the suite not working and emailed owner and took about an hour for response which said entry not until 3 pm so emailed copy of the email I received stating 1 pm entry and was granted entry. Unit was different than pictures on our search. In a state of disrepair. Side of bathtub falling off, cracks in the sink. Wall of shower had holes. Bedroom cupboard doors not secured. The bed squeaked so badly kept waking up when moved. Needed to turn refrigerator on, start boiler for hot water. Felt the suite was generally dirty. Sent message to owner stating not happy and we stayed one night of 3 trying to find other accommodation which we were able to do. Owner didn’t bother to read our message and sent a message asking how we settled in!! We found a hotel in a far nicer area of Birmingham and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our visit. Check out the Crown Plaza hotel rather than this listing.
We had a lovely stay at the property - the only downside was the sofa bed in the lounge was extremely hard to sleep on.
