brCheery with abundant natural light, The Roost is a 500 sq. ft. two story not so tiny, tiny home set among old growth cottonwood trees in a relaxed older neighborhood. Downstairs is a queen bedroom with en-suite bath, trundle in loft and air-conditioning. Numerous easy-open windows connect guests to the outdoors while the living/dining area offers R&R for family and friends with a full-sized sofa and fully equipped kitchen. Outside enjoy barbecuing and dining at the patio table.. The small front yard with privacy fence has 4 Adirondack chairs and a fire table to enjoy a quiet evening. Listen for the hoot of owls that live here and take in the stars that shine brightly without competition from other lights.brbrThe spacebrOur guest house is finished with modern farmhouse charm and nice details. White quartz counters, custom cabinets, locally milled rough sawn floors. It also has air conditioning and on demand hot water.brbrWe live in the main house just behind the guesthouse. The Roost is located close to the airport and a quick bike or drive to downtown. There is a short trail close to our house that would make for a nice walk. It's also located 2 blocks from an elementary school with 3 playgrounds.brbrCody is 1 hour from the east entrance to Yellowstone. Yellowstone’s east entrance usually opens around May 6th and closes around November 7th. Yellowstone is only open to snowmobiling in the winter.brbrGuest accessbrThere is a parking spot just in front of the porch. It easily fits one car or two small cars can squeeze in. You are welcome to park along the road as well. Please park your car along the fence (yes in the grass is just fine). Please don’t park in our driveway, it can make it difficult for us to get out. Amazing views -Three bedroom home between Cody and the East Gate to Yellowstone

The Dunton Ranch of Wyoming is located in the beautiful Wapiti Valley and what Teddy Roosevelt called the most scenic 51 miles in America. It is situated along the North Fork of the Shoshone River in Shoshone National Forest, between Cody and the eastern entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The location is named after the Cree Indian word for elk.brbrThis beautiful three bedroom, two and a half bath home sits on 25 acres with amazing views in every direction. The house can only accommodate a total of six people total including adults and children. Our insurance will not allow extra people on air mattresses or couches. brbrLarge living room and open kitchen and dining room. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need. There is a gas BBQ grill outside along with seating to enjoy your morning coffee, meals or just to just star gaze. High speed starlink internet and a smart television for streaming if you do need to catch up on your favorite shows. brbrbrBedroom one has a king bed with attached full bathbrBedroom two has a queen bedbrBedroom three has two twin bedsbrSecond bathroom is a full bath and third bath is a half bath.brbr*This property does not have AC. However, at night temperatures drop to the 55 or 60 degrees and low to no humidity, keeping the windows closed during the day then opening windows at night cools the property down and lets in the fresh mountain air!brbrCody is approximately sixteen miles east of the ranch and is the rodeo capital of the world The Cody Nite Rodeo runs every night June through the end of August at 8pmbrYou have to make time for the Buffalo Bill Center of the West which is 5 museums under one roof. In downtown Cody there is shopping and many great restaurants. There is also river rafting, ATV rentals, and fishing guides. brbrThe Dunton Ranch is located just 16 miles from Cody, 36 miles from the East gate to Yellowstone National Park and just 5 miles from the Shoshone National Forest where the hiking trails are endless. The entire Shoshone River opens for fishing on July 1st. Several of the local guest ranches offer two hour, four hour, and all day horseback rides and outdoor BBQ dinners. We keep a few of our older horses at the ranch so we may be able offer pony rides for our younger guests.
