Guests may hear laughter, joy, and music while using the outdoor spaces of our home. We are also conveniently located one lot removed from South Bayshore Drive (State Trunk 42). Like most locations on our peninsula, some vehicle noise will be heard outside. We have a six-foot privacy fence and a tree line in our backyard, adjacent to our outdoor entertainment space. We have a couple of reviews in which guests mention that our home is walkable to downtown Sister Bay. While this is technically true, guests should be aware that there is a large, long hill leading into downtown from our home. This may present difficulty when walking back to Chicory Hill for some of our guests. South Sister Bay locations, including Peach Barn Brewery, Johnson's Fun Park, Pirates Cove mini-golf and Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store, are an easy walk from Chicory Hill. brbr•Please note that Chicory Hill is a remodelled classic farmhouse. We have slanted ceilings around our upstairs beds. At the end of our basement stairwell, there is a small section with a slightly low ceiling height, requiring guests to duck their heads. Because we added central heating and cooling during restoration, our basement ceiling has areas that are slightly lower than modern basements.
