The wide lakefront has a sandy, walkout bottom that is shallow enough for young kids and dogs to play, while Lake Julia is deep enough for boats, great fishing, and water sports. It's the best of both worlds! The scenery and views from inside the Wildflower Bay Lakehouse are beautiful as well. The Wildflower Bay Lakehouse has a large yard, deck with two seating areas, seating by the lake, dock, 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds, bunk beds (both full size), and a twin trundle bed, one large bathroom, and a large family room in the basement. Sleeps 6-8 comfortably with additional sleep space too. Fully equipped kitchen, and in home laundry.brbrThe lake house is located next to wooded property, and directly on Lake Julia, with a short trail perfect for the little ones. It is relaxing and serene, while still being close enough to downtown Rhinelander for dining, nightlife, and shopping. There are also ATV and snowmobiling trails. If you are a distance runner or biker, you are surrounded by wooded roads with good hills to train on.brbrLake Julia is a 241 acre lake located in Oneida County. It has a maximum depth of 19 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat launch, which is a short 5 minute drive away. The Lake typically is not overly busy, and patrons are respectful of nature and one another. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.brbrThere are two ATV trails located nearby, open May to late November/early December. Many surrounding roads are ATV approved. Enterprise Trail System provides 10 miles of scenic trails (16 miles round trip) in the Oneida County Forest off of Pelican Lake. The trail connects with trail systems in Langlade and Lincoln Counties, so longer rides are possible. There are many of places to stop, making it great for group and/or family rides. brbrThe second trail is Little Rice Trail located west of Rhinelander near Willow Flowage. Little Rice Trail offers 16 miles of woodland trails, 23 miles of connecting road routes, and 76 miles of town roads open to ATV use. brbrIn winter, the area’s excellent snowfall and consistent low temperatures help keep snow trails covered and in top condition and the lake freezes over and is perfect for ice fishing. The Oneida/Rhinelander area has over 1,100 miles of snowmobiling trails, which link to other northern Wisconsin trails and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It’s a great hub to snowmobiling in the Northwoods!brbrThis property HAS air conditioning (a lot of the cabins up here do not). Also EV Charger available for use at additional charge. brbrLastly, please note, being in the Northwoods, there is a seasonality to the property and amenities. We do prepare for winter weather by pulling the dock and kayaks and putting away lawn furniture so items are not damaged by the Northwoods winter weather. The down stairs includes a living room with a power recliner , leather couch that has a queen transformer bed which or rated for daily usage, full kitchen including a dishwasher, above stove microwave and coffee maker pots, pans utensils, plates , glasses , bowls ect and a 1/2 bath with a washer and dryer just off the kitchen in the utility room. The down stairs also has in slab heating for the chilly/cold days and a wood burning stove to get everything toasty and added ambiance. Outside has enough parking for 2 vehicles with trailers or 4 full size trucks. No vehicles are not on beyond the house or allowed on the concrete patio, this includes atv’s, snowmobiles, dirt bikes and utv’s. This is a kid friendly place. The amenities 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a pier, ninja line, tree swing and an acre of tranquility throughout the year.This property is on a class A Muskie chain of 5 Lakes and has decent pan fishing off of the pier in spring through fall months, there is always a chance of hooking up with a Muskie or Northern.. This property also sits about 100 yards from a boat launch (patronage at Birchwood is appreciated). We are located on ATV and UTV trails (mainly asphalt) but dirt trails are a short drive away. The property is also on the snowmobile trails, just pull out of the driveway, take a left or right and you are on the trails. Unlike most lakes, Third lake doesn't require a boat lift, it doesn't get rough enough to need a lift, but that is my opinion. Simply throw your boat bumpers out and tie off to the pier.brbrThe house is also equipped with a 14.5KW whole home standby generator, for those just in case power outage moments. brbr *********2 night stays are only offered during snowmobiling season*********brbrSpring and fall are 3 night minimum staybrSummer is a 5 night minum stay(Memorial Day till Labor Day)brThe lower level garage is off limits. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea overlooking the lake from several different vantage points. The property is south facing so you can enjoy sun all day, but also has mature trees to stay cool, enjoying the breeze off the lake. 100’ of lakefront includes 2 docks, so there is plenty of room for swimming and fishing. Enjoy an evening campfire while taking in the lake views. brbrWith over 3,000 square feet, there is plenty of area to spend time together, but also ample room to stretch out on 3 separate levels. Fully stocked, newly remodeled kitchen with granite countertops, upper-level living room with gas fireplace, main level kitchen, dining room, sunroom/game room, and a lower-level TV Room. brbrThere are 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed with a 3-inch gel infused memory foam mattress topper, master bath with jetted tub, and is off the living room on the upper level. The other two bedrooms are on the lower level. One has a king bed with a 3-inch gel infused memory foam mattress topper. The third bedroom, dubbed “The Bunk Room”, has two Twin XL beds with gel infused memory foam toppers with rollout trundle beds underneath, and a Twin XL bunk bed, sleeping up to 6 if necessary. The Twin XL mattresses are the same length as a queen mattress, which allows the beds to be used by kids and adults alike. All 3 bedrooms have large walk-in closets to store all your personal belongings. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room which pulls out to a full-size mattress with a gel foam mattress topper stored in the closet, for sleeping 2 guests if needed. brbrThere is a piano, Arcade 1Up NBA Jam and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle arcade games, cribbage board, playing cards, puzzles, board games, Roku Smart TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player with dozens of movies to choose from. Tornado Foosball table, T2000 Tournament level table. Starlink high speed internet with Wi-Fi if you need to stay connected. Guests will have access to the washer and dryer to do laundry if necessary. brbrA small rack of campfire wood included with your stay, but if you intend to have more than one fire, please bring additional firewood. A gas grill and propane tanks are provided for guest use free of charge.brbrThere are two decks off the back of the house, and steps lead down to a 3rd lakeside deck, and the lake. Jump off the end of the dock and use the swimming ladder or walk in from the shore. The hard lake bottom is naturally weed free with a sandy/rock mix and drops off quickly to enjoy deep swimming. brbrProperty includes a swim raft, 3 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, and a canoe for your use, mid-May through end of September.brbrHildebrand Lake is a 60-acre lake with very clear water, and a max depth of 24 feet. It is full recreation, allowing jet skis, and motorboats for skiing/tubing, etc... Great fishing and the relatively low number of houses on the lake provides for minimal water traffic and allows you to look across the lake and only see forest, not other houses, to immerse you in the seclusion of the Northwoods. Life is better at the lake!brbr*There is an unimproved Oneida County public boat landing on the east end of the lake, a few thousand feet down from the Lakehouse. It is a rustic launch, with no dock. 4WD recommended for launching. Pictures and additional information can be provided. Access the river from our dock, lounge on benches or chairs and watch migrating birds on the open water all year long. brFull kitchen and bathroom provide cooking tools, soft towels and a washer and dryer is located in the bathroom. brEnjoy WiFi, smart TV, and small movable work desk with outlet plugs and USB ports located in this desk or the bedroom outlet. The desk moves over the bed or a chair. brSleep in a queen bed with comfy linens, lots of blankets and soft lights. Fold down and make the futon in the living room for a second bed with mattress pad, sheets and blankets provided and located in the bedroom closet. Run down and neglected, we purchased it and save it from disrepair completely remodeling the place in the past year. We have worked to preserve its historic charm and create a quaint, comfortable and functional place for you to stay. brWhy stay in a big hotel down the street when you can have a whole house to yourself, not to mention these spectacular views of the Wisconsin River. As I have worked this past year, I was captivated by the migrating birds because the water never freezes in the winter. Three drakes live in the area most of the year and I've seen swans, cranes and otters from the living room windows. brbrYou're welcome to use the dock. We do not recommended swimming in the river because the current is strong many times of the year. No diving because it's shallow. If you want to go to a sandy beach the Buck Lake public beach or Hodag Park in Rhinelander are two favorite spots for locals. brbrExplore downtown Brown Street. Across the river is the tourist information center to get more information about the area.
