They spend hours swimming, kayaking, jumping around on the lily pad, building sandcastles, and chasing frogs. Did we mention fishing The pond has bluegill and bass in it too (Catch and release please). There is a nice sandy beach area and plenty of outdoor chairs where you can sit and watch the fun. In addition to the two kayaks and the Lilly pad float we have a little dock to hang out on. brbrThe screen porch across the front of the cabin is a screen porch with an extra fridge. This is one of my favorite places to sit in the evening and listen to the night sounds. We often hear coyotes off in the distance as well as frogs and owls. It is positively magical at night. The Refuge has a really nice welcome/education center and has a lot of ranger led tours and hands on activities or you can explore the center on your own. There are miles of well-marked trails and board walks across the marsh at the refuge.brbrbrGolf Courses -there are several great courses in the area including Sand Valley Championship course and Northern Bay which features replica holes of some of the most famous courses in the word.
