Welcome to our home. We live next door to the property so we are able to assist you with any queries throughout your stay : where to visit , favourite eateries etc, need help operating an appliance .... but if you don't need us then that is fine too !brbrThe home is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom villa with plenty of open space and natural light. brbrThe main bedroom has a queen sized bed, 2 bedside tables with lamps that have integrated USB chargers. There's a reverse cycle split airconditioner in this room to provide year round comfort. The windows have plantation shutters to let in as much light as you would like - close the curtains as well to sleep in late. A full double wardrobe provides you with hanging space, hangers, and a full set of drawers. Unpack your luggage, store your cases in the wardrobe and make yourselves at home.brbrBEDROOM2 : this room has 2 single beds. There are storage boxes under the beds to put some belongings in. Main storage for luggage is in the main bedroom.brThere is a reverse cycle split air conditioner for added comfort.brbrBATHROOM :brA stand alone bath, vanity with double storage cupboards, supplied soap and hairdryer. A full shower with supplied shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Please just wipe down the glass after use with the wiper hanging in the shower.brbrTOILET AND LAUNDRYbrThere is a separate toilet down the hall just off the laundry. The laundry space consists of a full sink, top load washing machine (there's a clothesline outside but we do have a dryer in our home which you are welcome to request to use if you need to dry something for packing). We are happy to supply some washing detergent. There is a full ironing board, iron, broom and Bosch stick vacuum stored in this space.brbrLOUNGE:brThe lounges are so comfy in this large, open space. 2 full lounges to lie down on and watch Netflix on the Smart TV in airconditioned comfort. Board games and cards can also be found here.brbrDININGbrA beautiful timber table with 6 modern chairs. A beautiful space to enjoy eating takeaway from some of the great pizzerias or cafes in our area or a wonderful meal that you whip up with fresh local ingredients. Plenty of glasses, crockery and cutlery for all your needsbrbrKITCHENbrA full kitchen that hopefully will have all your require to cook to your hearts content. If anything is lacking, just ask up as we will most likely have what you need and you are welcome to borrow it. There's a gas stove, 60cm electric oven, microwave, full fridge with freezer, airfryer and dishwasher.brA separate coffee nook houses the Nespresso coffee machine, milk frother and kettle. Cups and starter coffee supplies are stored in the overhead cupboards. A 4 slice toaster is stored in the cupboards below. brAn easy clean glass splashback runs the entire length of the kitchen. At night it look beautiful with it's LED light strip turned on. The switch is above the dishwasher - the middle switch.. give it a go !brbrEXTERIORbrCheck out our sunflowers by local artist Holly Ogden - we think they totally brighten up the space. You may see her other sunflowers in public spaces in the neighbourhood.brbrChill out under the pergolux where you'll find a dining table, couch, cushions and outdoor chairs. This area is easiy accessed by the sliding doors at the kitchen. Our bay trees provide a lovely privacy screen. Enjoy sitting on the grass if your prefer. There's even a dart board if darts is your style.brbrA third room in the house is locked off for our own personal storage use as is the lock up garage. Everything else is for your use.brbrWe have lived in this location for 25 years and grew up in the area as well. It's a wonderful area that is quieter than being on the main strip in Scarborough. We like to say that we are close enough to the action and far enough away from the issues. Our area has plenty of parks and is walkable to the beach. If you have a car, we can steer you towards beaches that are far less touristy. Only a few blocks away are wonderful cafes. gourmet grocer, bakeries, small wine bars and pizzerias. Scarborough beachfront and pool are a short drive and easy to walk to.brbrBuses to the city, train lines and beach are at the end of the street. brbrWe look forward to welcoming you and making your trip a memorable one.
