This substantial 2 story brick home is set amongst half an acre of fenced mature trees and gardens, on a quiet street surrounded by Karris but minutes from central Denmark.brPicture windows and balcony make the most of the natural beauty, and the layout of the house makes it great for 2 families.brbrThe spacebrThis spacious property has high raked ceilings and face brick feature walls in the main living area, with large windows which take in the outlook of Karri trees to the front and side and lush mature trees and gardens to the rear.brbrThe house has the kitchen and main living areas upstairs to capture the views and accomodate the sloping block. The entry is into the lounge which has a comfortable leather suite, and a smart TV and Blu ray player, as well as a cosy wood heater and a split system heater/cooler. There is free wifi. The dining room has large picture windows with views over the trees, leading into a modern well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. A balcony adjoins the dining area overlooking the garden, with a bbq conveniently located there.brbrThe master bedroom is spacious with another large picture window with a king bed. Adjacent is the second bedroom with 2 single beds, and a bathroom and toilet.brA set of stairs leads down to the ground floor where there are a further 2 large bedrooms each with queen beds. One of these also has a sofa which converts into a single bed. There is also a seperate living area with a double sofa bed and second tv and DVD player, plus games and beanbags for the kids. The flooring in the downstairs bedrooms and living area is black butt style vinyl plank. brbrThere is also a ping pong table available for your use. The 2nd bathroom and toilet on the ground floor make the house great for 2 families. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer and leads out to a gazebo in the garden with an outdoor setting.brbrThe gardens are peaceful and lush, and are fully fenced, with mature fruit and olive trees trees and other mature trees, both native and introduced.brbrGuest accessbrThere is free parking on the property for 2 or more cars. The Bibblumun track and inlet are a short walk away and the town of Denmark a short drive away. Ocean Beach, Greens Pool and Lights Beach are also a short drive away.brbrPLEASE NOTE: Pillows, doonas, blankets and teatowels are provided, however guests will need to bring their own bed linen and towels. The master bed is a king size. If king size sheets are not readily available two flat queen size sheets can be used.brbrDuring winter the primary heating is the split system in the lounge with oil heaters for bedrooms if required. The wood heater is also available for use but needs to be used carefully and should have ash cleaned out after a couple of uses for maximum efficiency ( ash can be put on front garden). If I have cut firewood available I will leave a box inside. More firewood should be available outside, although some larger blocks may need to be split for that purpose. Axe, block splitter and saw are available. brbrI have tried to keep the cleaning fee to a minimum on the basis that guests will leave the house clean and tidy after their stay.brbrThere are steepish internal stairs from the kitchen and main living areas to the ground floor which may make the house unsuitable for people who find stairs difficult. Parents with toddlers may also need to consider the safety of such stairs.brbrA dog may be allowed with prior approval and subject to a $150 pet bond at my discretion. Only well behaved house trained dogs will be considered. No dogs to be left inside alone, and all evidence of a dog to be removed prior to the end of the stay.

The Tree House, Denmark is a landmark holiday house in Weedon Hill. Sitting high between two tall karri trees the house is surrounded by giant granite boulders and one of them rises up through the floor and in to the living room... brThe living space is a large double height space with open plan kitchen and dining. Apart from the feature granite boulder the space opens out to a large cantilevered deck with great views of the forest with inlet glimpses. brThe accommodation comprises of one main bedroom and a sleeping loft. The bathroom has a double bath with spa as well as a stand alone shower. brThere is a great curved glass wood burning heater but also air conditioning for summer and winter. The house is new so well insulated and comfortable any time of year. brWheedon Hill is half way between Denmark and Ocean Beach and is an ideal location for exploring by foot along the nearby inlet or by car to all the local attractions of beaches like Green's Pool, the Tree top walk and wineries and breweries. Children under 11years are by appointment only. We have a cot for free if you bring bedding. Under 3's will be free.

The loft bedroom is accessed by a staircase, therefore is not suitable for the elderly or disabled person. All quality bed linen is supplied including towels. The lower level includes a kitchenette which is fitted out with cooking facilities including a microwave, double hotplate, cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery, glassware and washing machine. There is a good sized fridge, TV, lounge and dining suite. The courtyard offers a tranquil place to enjoy breakfast with an outdoor dining suite and BBQ and is surrounded by beautiful private landscaped gardens. Only a two minute drive to the Denmark township this is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Denmark offers trendy cafes, restaurants and the Wilson Inlet. If it's a swim you want, a six-minute drive will take you to picturesque Ocean Beach. Greens Pool and Waterfall Beach. Enjoy what the Great Southern has to offer like the Tree Top Walk, local wineries, the Boston Brewery, Denmark Chocolate Factory, Denmark Farmhouse Cheese or a boat cruise on the Wilson River.
