Redbird Haven • Hot Tub • Pool • Fire Pit • Pets Welcome

Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, United States

Spring has arrived at Redbird Haven — and there's no better time to escape to the West Virginia woods. The trees are lush and green, the hot tub is warm under the open sky, and the fireflies will be out soon. Come slow down, reconnect, and make some memories.brbrNestled on a quiet wooded ridge in the heart of the Coolfont Mountain Community, Redbird Haven is just minutes from historic Berkeley Springs and two hours from DC, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh. Whether you're planning a family getaway, a girls' weekend, a romantic escape, or a work-from-the-woods retreat — this cabin was made for exactly that kind of trip.brbrWhat guests love most:brbrWe've put a lot of thought into the details that make a stay feel special rather than just functional — and our guests notice. Here's what keeps them coming back:br• Private hot tub — cleaned and inspected between every stay, surrounded by peaceful woodland views. Guests tell us it's their favorite part of the trip.br• Fire pit + grill — spend your evenings outside, telling stories, roasting marshmallows, or cooking out under the trees.br• Screened-in porch — one of our most-loved features. Experience the wooded setting and fresh air without a single bug. Perfect for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or evening wine.br• Community pool, tennis courts & playground — open Memorial Day through Labor Day, just a short walk from the cabin. A game-changer for families with kids.br• Genuinely family-friendly — we have a toy chest, kids' outdoor chairs, sippy cups, and a bunk room with a twin, full, and pull-out trundle that kids absolutely love. The whole setup works beautifully for two families traveling together or a family with multiple kids.br• Dogs stay free — we love pets and don't charge a pet fee. We just ask that you clean up after them and use the throw blankets we provide for furniture.br• Fully equipped kitchen — our guests love cooking here. You'll find everything you need, plus a welcome spread of snacks and fresh coffee beans ready to grind.br• Thoughtful sleeping details — like both soft and firm pillow options in every room, because the little things matter.br• High-speed WiFi — great for remote workers or anyone who needs to stay connected between adventures.brbrThe Bedrooms:brbrBedroom 1 — Queen bed, first floor, steps from the deck and hanging egg chairbrBedroom 2 — King bed with a gorgeous forest view over the headboard and a private balcony overlooking the stream — guests say it looks like a paintingbrBedroom 3 — Bunk room with a twin on top, full on the bottom, and a pull-out twin trundle underneath. Perfect for kids or flexible group sleepingbrbrThe Location:brRedbird Haven sits within the Coolfont Mountainside Association, with access to a seasonal pool, tennis courts, and playground. Coolfont Resort is right across the street with additional amenities and a restaurant. Cacapon State Park is just an 11-minute drive for hiking. And downtown Berkeley Springs — with its famous mineral spas, art galleries, local shops, breweries, and restaurants — is just a short drive away.brbrYou can fill every day with adventures, or never leave the property at all. Both are completely valid vacation strategies.brbrA note from us:brMy family and I created Redbird Haven as a place where people can truly unplug, gather, and feel at home — not just like they're staying somewhere. We're responsive, communicative, and genuinely care that your stay is wonderful. We're always just a message away.br— Katie & family

+ The Cabin + @ Camp Potomac Peak

Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, United States

Camp Potomac Peak was recently (Nov 2024) voted the best place to stay in the Eastern Panhandle by WV Living Magazine. The cabin provides everything you need for a weekend in the beautiful mountains of WV. Luxury mountain accommodations with an unmatched attention to detail.brbrThe spacebrAn open floor plan houses the kitchen, dining area, and living room. An electric mid century modern fireplace creates a cozy night inside, while a Solo Stove fire pit (stocked with fire starters and dry firewood) creates a memorable night outside.brbrWe provide everything you need, including all linens, bath towels/hand towels/washcloths, extra hot tub towels, paper towels, tp, basic spices/sugar/olive oil, fully stocked kitchen, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, hand soap, dish soap/detergent, laundry detergent, etc (we will email a full list upon booking).brbrWith one bedroom (queen), and one full bathroom, we also provide a queen air mattress with extra linens and pillows, if needed.brbrUpon arrival, you'll find a bag of fresh coffee beans and a s'mores kit waiting for you! A quick walk up the driveway, and you'll be able to take in some incredible views in our outdoor Lounge area, which is shared with all guests staying on the property. You'll also find our newest amenity--the Trading Post--where you can pick up some CPP gear, drinks/snacks, or some items you might have forgotten to pack! There is also a mini library of books and records, and a postcard mailing station. This space is open for all guests staying on the property, 24/7. Once booked, we'll email you our custom Field Guide, highlighting all of our favorite recommendations for what to do, see, eat, and explore in the area.brbrCamp Potomac Peak is located on a ridge of Cacapon Mountain and has stellar views over the Potomac River into Maryland and Pennsylvania. Situated on 8 acres, the property offers plenty of room for stretching your legs and walking around the grounds.brbrThe cabin is dog friendly- we allow one, well behaved dog per stay. We provide dog bowls, sheet, towel, and poop bags. A $75 pet fee covers additional cleaning, as well as a donation to our local Humane Society.brbrThe property has reliable, fast wifi, smart TVs (we provide Amazon Prime and Netflix to make it easy for you!), and good cell phone coverage.brGuest accessbrPlease note, the Cabin shares a driveway with our other rentals—the Lodge, and the Cedar. Because we have multiple units within close proximity to each other on the property, we ask that guests respect quiet hours after 10pm. Some of the grounds, and the large lounge area (with the killer view!) located at the top of the driveway, are shared, common spaces with other guests.brOther things to notebrWe are meticulous about cleaning, and can ensure that the place will be spotless. The towels and sheets aren’t the only things fresh—as we wash all throw blankets and duvet covers before every guest.brbrWe also live just five minutes away from Camp Potomac Peak, so if anything comes up where you might need assistance with something, we are almost always the ones you will interface with. Jeff is incredibly handy and can fix/solve most anything (but don't tell him I admitted that). We are both personally involved in ALL of the day-to-day operations at CPP, and we are available 24/7 (we provide our personal cell phone #'s upon arrival). We have an absolutely AWESOME team member, Mandi, who does most all of our cleaning and detailing to make your stay perfect. You may see one of us on the property during your stay servicing another unit- please don't hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable!brbrWe totally understand that things come up and plans may need to change. We allow one reservation change outside of the cancellation window. Requests for changes inside of the cancellation window will result in related penalties per our cancellation policy. Just as we handle cancellations within the window, should the cabin rebook for the original nights of your scheduled stay, a full refund of the rebooked nights will be issued.

Modern w/Fire Pit, Deck, Grill & Hot Tub

Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, United States

Summary:brbrGreen Valley Retreat is a cabin nestled in the woods with all the conveniences from home – perfect for your WV getaway.brbrbrbrThe highlights:brbr - Relax in the hot tub after a long day!brbr - Grill on the spacious screened-in porch & deckbrbr - Hang out & roast s’mores around the fire pitbrbr - Drive 5 mins for golfing at The Woods Resort, or 15 mins into Berkeley Springs for great restaurants & shoppingbrbrbrbrEnjoy!brbrbrbrThe Space:brbrOur newly-renovated cabin has all the comforts of home, nestled away in the WV mountains surrounded by old-growth forest bustling with wildlife. Directly behind the cabin is the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area: nearly 23,000 acres of old growth forest that’s full of wildlife. You’ll wake up to hear the birds chirping and chipmunks chattering away – and we often see deer, foxes, rabbits, turkeys, and even the occasional bear. If you’re looking to get out of the city and recharge in nature, this is the perfect place. (And the best part is you’re only 15 minutes from town!). Green Valley Retreat is fun for couples, families, or groups of friends -- and is the perfect home base for your getaway!brbrbrbrThe cabin includes:brbr - Two bedrooms - One with a queen bed, the other with a queen/twin bunk combobrbr - A spacious deck for relaxing and grilling, with a large screened-in porchbrbr - Hot tub perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the areabrbr - Central AC to keep you comfortable when it’s warmbrbr - Open main room with plenty of natural lightbrbr - Outdoor fire pit to wind down the evening with s’mores!brbr - An outdoor yard game treasure box full of activities for kids and adults: corn hole, volleyball, soccer and kick balls, horseshoes, and many more!brbrbrbrPlease note: Cell service at the cabin can be spotty, and while we do provide a WiFi hotspot, the signal isn’t always strong. We like to think of it as the perfect excuse to unplug, swap screen time for real downtime, and soak up the mountain vibes. You’ll find plenty of board games and outdoor games waiting—because the best memories are made offline!brbrbrbrOur cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!brbrbrbrOn occasion, our well water can produce a sulfur smell. Don't worry, this is normal and common with wells in rural areas and perfectly safe.brbrbrbrYou will be provided a copy of the Sleepy Hollow Lot Owners Association House Rules after confirming your reservation, and we will ask you to acknowledge receipt and acceptance of the House Rules.brbrbrbrPet PolicybrbrWe’re happy to welcome dogs to join you on your getaway! Please note that due to allergies, we’re unable to accommodate cats. A $29 pet fee applies per furry friend, per night to help cover additional cleaning and care. Thanks for understanding—we look forward to hosting you and your pup!brbrbrbrLonger StaysbrbrFor stays of 14 nights or longer, guests will be asked to e-sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. This agreement helps us comply with local requirements while protecting the property, and will be sent in advance for review.brbrbrbrBeyond the cabin itself, the Hedgesville / Berkeley Springs area is great for so many reasons -- and Green Valley Retreat is just a short drive to everything. The Woods is one of the top golf courses in the state, with a wonderful spa, hiking trails, and a restaurant/pub as well. And the town of Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, with dozens of shops and restaurants, and even a brewery and winery!
