The second living space is also downstairs. br brUpstairs is the large open plan kitchen, dining/living room (with TV, Foxtel, sound bar, CD and DVD player) which provides access to two large balconies (one North, one the other South facing). Bedroom 3 (with BIR), a second bathroom (with shower and a separate toilet) are also on this floor. br br Outdoor Areas br brBoth balconies upstairs offer outdoor sitting, suitable for having a cup of tea or coffee. The enclosed front and back yard are perfect for the kids, and there’s a swing for little ones in the side yard. There is a gas BBQ and outdoor seating downstairs plus a hot and cold outdoor shower. Ample parking is provided with off-street parking in the huge driveway for several vehicles, including a boat, and the Cowes boat ramp is within an easy 10-minute drive. br br Kitchen br brThe fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Breville Infuser coffee machine (requires expresso machine ground coffee), toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and ceramic stove as well as the basic condiments, cleaning products etc. you would expect to find in a home away from home. br br Heating/Cooling Systems br brHeating and cooling are all taken care of with a wall-mounted reverse cycle A/C in the living area, plus one portable oil heater in each bedroom. Seahaven Escape is positioned behind a large grassy foreshore which expands onto a safe swimming beach and walking distance to Phillip Island’s only all day dog friendly beach (year round). You can throw a frisbee, fly a kite, swim, kayak or simply take in the wildlife.brbrPhillip Islands major attractions are all within a 5-10 minute drive. Whether it's visiting the famous fairy penguins, the thrill of the Phillip Island Circuit, numerous surf beaches, kids activities or simply shopping and dining in Cowes, everything Phillip island has to offer is all within close proximity.brbrOur two storey house is set back on a large block featuring a gazebo, small fully secured backyard and a narrow lockable garage (to fit motorbikes only). Downstairs comprises of an entrance area, combined bathroom, toilet, laundry and a large open room/bedroom - an ideal hangout for the kids. This room features a TV, DVD, *Wii console, movies, games and toys. Bedding consists of 1 x set of single bunks, 1 x trio bunk - double with single above and a sofa/futon bed. A portacot and baby chair are also available.br*please bring 4 x AA batteries if using the Wii console as there is no guarantee of batteries, unfortunately they run flat and/or go missing including rechargeable batteries so we have stopped suppling. Sorry brbrAdditional guests can be accommodated in a separate set of single bunks located within the entrance hall opposite the bathroom/toilet/laundry. A second fridge is located downstairs to accommodate for extra food or drinks.brbrUpstairs features modern open plan living alongside the main (parents) bedroom. Whether you're entertaining friends, relaxing with family or having a romantic night in, this space is ideal. The galley kitchen features electric cooking, dishwasher, microwave, Aldi K-free wave coffee pod machine (BYO your preferred Aldi Expressi coffee pod flavours), full size fridge, fully equipped kitchen - everything to cook a gourmet meal. The lounge features comfortable couches with a 65 inch flat screen TV, DVD and main dining area. Two sliding doors from the lounge and dining area open out onto a large outside undercover balcony offering sea views and an outdoor BBQ. The outside entertaining area can be used all year round and in all weather conditions making it the ideal spot to relax and chill out with your favourite book, tunes or glass of wine.brbrGuests also have access to an outdoor shower (hot and cold water) to wash off sand after a day at the beach. We have table tennis, outdoor basketball ring, 4 x adult bikes, kids balance bike and scooter (BYO all helmets), kids toys, books, beach and sporting equipment all for your enjoyment. This is a charming beach house with lots of character, perfect for a great getaway at Phillip Island. Comfort and no fuss - exactly what beach holidays are all about!brbrWith 4 separate sleeping areas and two living areas, the house can comfortably accommodate a large family or several couples.brbrBedding configuration: br2x Queen bedrooms br1x Double bedroom br1x King Single sofa bed (in its own separate room) br brThe open plan living areas work well when you have a few people staying - the kitchen, dining and living areas are together at the front of the house overlooking the deck and there's another separate TV room. br brThe room with the King Single sofa bed also has a TV, as does one of the Queen bedrooms. br brThe kitchen is very well-equipped - new SMEG electric stove, microwave and new Bosch dishwasher - and there's plenty of (matching!) china, cutlery and glassware for everyone. There are 2 fridges in the kitchen. br brThere's a lovely bathroom inside with a shower and toilet which was recently renovated, and an older laundry and second toilet and shower outside, especially useful after a day at the beach. br brThe reverse-cycle air conditioner in the lounge heats or cools the house and there's a portable electric heater as well. All bedrooms have white block-out blinds. br brVentnor is about 5kms from Cowes which has lots of shops and restaurants - close-by for easy access, yet far away enough to enjoy some peace and tranquility even during the busiest holiday periods. br brThe house is surrounded by a pretty garden which is partially fenced. There's a garage at the back of the property. You'll enjoy the view of the front garden and deck from the sunny living room. The large deck with table and chairs is a great spot to serve drinks and dinner around the BBQ. br brIt's a 5-minute wander to the lovely Ventnor bay beach, the only dog-friendly beach on the Island which is off-leash at all times during the day or night, any time of year. brbrIf you're attending major events such as the MotoGP or V8 Supercars, the stop for the shuttle bus that will take you to the event is on the corner of the street, less than 50 metres away.
