We tried a few different beachside destinations but nothing compared to Loch Sport. 12 months later we bought our beautiful beach house right on Lake Victoria and we have decided to share this idyllic place with others, in the hope that you have the same experience as us and truly fall in love with Loch Sport. brbrThe location of our house is perfect, with our back gate leading onto a pathway directly to Lake Victoria. The wildlife is abundant - a variety of birds and kangaroos in the backyard, swans on the lake and fish & crabs can be spotted in the water. We are a short less than 10 minute drive to 90 Mile Beach that boasts endless pristine sand and waves. brbrWe always take our dogs so please bring your furry friends with you! brbrThe property is less than 5km's to the main street in Loch Sport where there is an IGA, cafe, children's park, BBQ area, skate park and fish & chip shop. There is also a Pub at the Marina that offers restaurant meals. Sale is a 35 minute drive if you feel you need something that can't be found in Loch Sport :)brbrWe recently connected to broadband so you can access free WIFI to stay in touch, watch some movies or just leave it all behind. We have one main TV in the lounge room as well as a second TV and DVD player in the bedroom with a very large collection of DVD's. We also have lots of books as well as games & puzzles. brbrLife is so stressful and fast paced these days, Loch Sport is the perfect place to put that all behind you for a break.brbr- Large veranda boasting beautiful Lake Victoria views. brbr- Open plan living upstairs that includes lounge area, small dining space and a fully appointed kitchen with cooking utensils, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric stove that leads out to a large veranda with a BBQ for cooking under the stars. brbr- Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided on arrival. brbr- The main area of the house, upstairs, has 3 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in each room, main bathroom with separate toilet . Stacker doors fully open up onto the expansive deck which includes a brand new 4 burner hooded gas BBQ, with outdoor table setting and large new outdoor couch all perfect to sit back and relax all with wonderful views. The modern kitchen is fully self-contained with a dishwasher and the recent addition of a brand new ceramic cooktop and oven. The bathroom has both shower and bath facilities. There is a separate toilet with hand basin. All queen bedrooms and living areas have ceiling fans. The living room also has a split system air conditioning / heating unit. Stroll to the shops or to the pub for a drink or a meal. Take the bike path to the pier to fish or take the short path to Lake Reeve to see the kangaroos feed. The kids will love being opposite the water and just down the road from the play ground! Bring the canoes and walk them to the water! A stones throw to the 90 mile beach and the Lakes National Park. If you are into boating the boat launch is just up the road. Enjoy the sunset over Lake Victoria to the mountain ranges from the large covered deck. If you like golfing there is also the local 18 hole Loch Sport Golf Course (Sandscrape Championships played here in 2012 and scheduled for August 2021) & an RSL club too.
