Only a few exterior stairs to get onto the front porch and everything is on one level after that (until you're ready to go downstairs, of course). Reach the basement front door by navigating about 6 steps and watch the porch overhang to avoid bumping heads.brOther things to notebrCOVID-19 IMPACT: With the threat of this global pandemic, we want to do our part. We clean top-to-bottom after every stay, but will take additional steps to disinfect (especially metal and plastic surfaces) beyond our regular cleaning. Key code for entry through basement front door available on request.brbrIMPORTANT: Since this is an older home, the basement ceilings are not a standard 8-foot height, but are closer to 7 feet (might take a little getting used to for taller individuals). If over 6 feet tall, there will be some slouching and ducking required in entry ways between great room and bedrooms/bathroom to avoid hitting heads. Also, the interior stairs between the upstairs and down are narrow and somewhat steep. If not careful, feet can slip off and could potentially cause a fall. Please be careful, take your time, and use the handrail to avoid any accidents!

Great venue for a wedding reception (50 people outdoors), family gathering, birthday. Laundry available onsite by arrangement. Quiet. Owner has 2 well behaved dogs on property that are strictly separated from guests and children at all times, unless of course you are in need of some comfort therapy by your choice - and can use some doggie love and affection ( no charge for the loves) just want to let people know who may have allergies - they happen! just want you to know in advance. For this reason, guests may be staying in the basement during your stay upstairs. They have their own private entrance and no shared space, so privacy should never be an issue. However, we will insist that guests in the downstairs quietly respect your privacy and ask that you do the same for them, including honoring quiet hours from 10pm-8am every night.brbrNOTE: Since this is a rambler-style house with a basement, total silence is impossible to achieve. The views out of the house are great - Mt Ogden out front and Ben Lomond to the left. The location is amazing - right next to the Ogden River Trail, and close to several parks and supermarkets. It is in a quiet neighborhood but also is really easy to get to main roads to access hiking/biking/skiing/downtown or whatever you desire! The house is also really nice with a fenced-in backyard and a firepit. If you're here in the summer, the rose bushes look amazing too!

Coverage includes doorbell cameras at each entrance and a driveway/garage view. There are no cameras inside the unit.brbrWe live in the upstairs unit and are mindful of noise.
