The Lazy Possum Cottage is a modern fishing cabin on the north side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This remodeled waterfront property offers a gentle slope to the water perfect for swimming and wading. It is usually deep enough to moor a boat or jet skis right at the shore although if the water level fluctuates you might have to tie it up a little further out or use our boat slip at the marina less than a quarter of a mile down the road. This is also the closest boat ramp.brbrThe house has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen. It will sleep 6 if the queen sized sofa bed is used. There is also room for floor mattresses if prior arrangements are made. It also has 2 full baths, one with a shower and deep tub combo, the master offers a walk in shower next to a jacuzzi tub. A laundry room with a full size washer and dryer is off the first bathroom. The large open kitchen with its granite countertops and farmhouse sink offers appliances including an oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher as well as small appliances such as coffee maker, blender, and toaster oven. Included are dishes, silverware, cups, barware, pots and pans, tea kettle, hand mixer, knives and baking dishes. A complementary starter array of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate is provided.
