Our log cabin is set back from the road by about 50 yards. Marshalls Creek Road is normally quiet, but traffic (and traffic noise) picks up at times due to commuters. Most are not bothered by this occasional road noise, but if you are looking for a completely remote cabin, we'd recommend keeping this in mind.brbrOur log cabin is in sight lines of 4 or 5 other cabins, 1 of which is also an active VRBO rental. You may hear activity from the other cabins.brbrBecause our log cabin is rustic and located in the woods, you may encounter wildlife including insects, mice, (flying) squirrels, bats, snakes, raccoons, deer, and bears.
