This condo is a one BR one bathroom end unit (no neighbor). Also it is a second floor unit so there is no noise from above. It was painted on March 1 and new luxury vinal flooring installed at that time. The condo is extremely clean and easily maintained. There is a large wall mounted flat screen TV. Hi speed internet is included. In addition to the living room A/C there is a second unit in the BR. All kitchen utensils, dishes, coffee maker, pots and pans, crock pot, microwave are provided. The unit has a new full size washer and dryer. Wash cloths and bathroom towels included. I might have overlooked other amenities but they are probably there too. The enclosed porch overlooks the swimming pool and a small fishing pond. A dock is included with the rental and is 2 MINUTES to Lake Erie at no-wake speed. You do not need a boat to fish. There are two fishing ponds in the complex in addition to the marina. I can provide 2 children's fishing poles if requested, There is a basketball hoop, tennis & pickleball courts on the premises. For those not familiar with the area there are numerous charters available around and in the complex. You do not need to fish to enjoy this area. Birders find the 10 minute drive to the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge a favorite spot although all the marshes and fields hold the birds they are looking for. The Jet Express, Miller's Ferry, and Kelly's Island Ferry are all within easy driving distances. Cedar Point, African Wildlife Safari, Put-In-Bay, East Harbor State Park, Marblehead Lighthouse, and the Castalia Fish Hatchery are just a few of the many attractions in the area. Toledo offers the world famous Toledo Art Museum, Toledo Mud Hens, and the Toledo Zoo among its attractions. Also there is an interesting book in the condo that describes numerous attractions (mostly free) that are interesting and relatively unknown. There is free parking under a carport directly below the condo. There is a full size bed and a single roll out bed. Public transportation is available for those that desire (or need it). The complex itself is quiet. Swans and geese roam the complex and eagles and their nests are common to the area especially at Metzger's Marsh and Crane Creek (as well as across the street). Other wildlife (some surprising) frequent the marsh on the property.

A 5 star experience- that is our goal for your stay! This is a second floor condominium (with multiple stairs) located in peaceful Green Cove Resort. It is perfect for a family of four. We are located off of Rt 2, just about halfway between Sandusky and Toledo. brThis condo is ideal for fishermen, birdwatchers, or anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.brFull kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, queen bed, and queen sofa sleeper. Over the past year we have added several additional items for our guests to enjoy! The sleeper sofa mattress and queen bed are both topped with a memory foam pad for your comfort. There is also a small futon if you are in need of 3 separate beds. If you happen to be a very serious coffee drinker, you may also be delighted to find an espresso machine and coffee bean grinder in addition to the regular old coffee pot. brRelax by the very nice pool which is open from Memorial Day - Labor Day. There are lounge chairs around the pool that are available for you to use, so you only need to bring your towel! brFor the fishermen- there are two fish cleaning houses that you may use. These are fantastic. You can keep the bugs off of you while you clean your catch! Large bags and a chest freezer are inside for easy disposal of carcasses. br30 ft dock is available at your doorstep. Come and enjoy our cozy condo for a great family vacation or fishing experience. Our unit is on the water and overlooks the harbor from the 3-season sun-room. Besides being right on the fabulous walleye, perch, and smallmouth fishing Lake Erie has to offer (with plenty of charter captains located right here in Wild Wings Marina) various kinds of other attractions are all within a 25 mile radius or a 45 minute scenic ride between Sandusky and Toledo. In Sandusky, there's the Cedar Point Amusement Park and the Kalanari indoor water park. In Toledo, you'll find the Toledo Zoo and Hollywood Casino. In between all this, you have Crane Creek State Park, Ottawa National Wildlife refuge (Magee marsh), Camp Perry Firing Range, and other family attractions. Port Clinton is a short 15-minute ride where you can enjoy its fine dining, beaches and parks, or hop onto the Jet Express to visit Put-in-Bay island.brbrThis is a one-bedroom one bath unit with central air (not those noisy in the wall type air conditioners). In the bedroom, you'll find two (2) twin size beds. The living room has a queen size sofa with a LED TV and DVD player. There's another twin bed in the 3-season sun room. There are three total beds plus the sofa sleeper, and this unit can sleep 6 with children sharing the sofa bed and full size bed. The kitchen includes microwave oven, toaster oven, coffee maker, filters, coffee, pots and pans, dishes, glassware, and silverware for your use. We just ask that you cleanup after yourselves. If an excessive amount of dirty dishes are left behind, additional cleaning fees may be withheld from your damage deposit. brbrGreen Cove Resort has a community pool that is practically right across the street. Also within walking distance are tennis and basketball courts, a stocked fishing pond, and enclosed fish cleaning stations. There's a conveniences store, restaurant & bar, bait shop, and fish cleaning services just down the road. There is a Dollar General store right across the highway.brbrPlease be aware that a dock is not included with this unit for my boat is parked there. I've made arrangements with neighbors where they allow my guest to use their dock for $15/night. This fee will be requested as an additional charge after your reservation is made, and we have confirmed that the guest intends to bring a boat. Proof of liability insurance or the declaration page for you boat will be needed in order for the Association to issue a boat sticker for you to use the dock. It will be a good idea to send this once you have made the reservations. Also, please be aware that parking of trailers is not allowed on the resort property and arrangement will have to be made to park the trailer offsite. brbrShould you have any specific questions, please reply and let me know. I'll do my best to get back to you quickly with answers. Also note that should you decide to rent for only 6 days, the system used by VRBO or HomeAway will not recognize the weekly rate cost savings.
