Welcome to a Historical Adobe home located in its own secluded and private tree-lined enclave at the end of a private driveway - yet only steps from the top restaurants and art galleries on Santa Fe's famous Canyon Road. Property is beautifully appointed with Vigas through out the house, with wood floors and rugs. I have also chosen the art in the home to reflect Santa Fe and all of its charm and history. The master bedroom features a gas Kiva fireplace and a king size bed; the bedroom furniture was made by a local craftsman. The guest bedroom which has a queen size bed and sitting area, is equally comfortable. The bathroom is accessible thru both the Master Bedroom and the hallway (Jack and Jill Bathroom). The kitchen is a chef's dream, it is fully equipped. The kitchen opens up into a sunny dining area, with a cozy corner table that will easily accommodate six people and a kitchen island that seats three. The living room area was designed and furnished for peace and tranquility. The house has Wi-Fi and two televisions (with cable). The home also has washer and dryer, Air Conditioning and Heat. Welcome to a mini-estate feeling in your huge, graveled back lot line with mature trees and a lovely rock-scape front yard. Recommended parking space is right outside the kitchen back door, although you essentially have your own massive parking lot. The private and secluded outdoor space includes a covered porch (portal) under the shade of two large pine trees, a rock-scape garden, blooming flower pots, a glass table for 6 with umbrella and comfortable padded chairs plus a stainless steel bar barbecue grill. Your view outdoors includes the cottonwood trees lining the Santa Fe River and the charming adobe gallery building next door, plus the massive nicely graveled parking lot space that's all yours great for kids or pups to stretch out their feet in seclusion and privacy away from the street and tourist traffic. However, walk to the end of the driveway and find yourself looking at three restaurants (including the world-famous top 100 Geronimo's) and more beautiful galleries and shops than you can count! The 18 inch thick adobe walls make the property remarkably quiet given its close proximity to the Santa Fe Railyard District, the Historic Santa Fe Plaza, Canyon Road and The State Capitol Grounds. Casa Dominguez has a kitchen with refrigerator and microwave (toaster oven and counter-cooktop on request), bedroom with closet, and a living room and dining area. During the recent, extensive renovation that included a new roof, windows, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, historically appropriate materials were used whenever possible. Furnishings in the home include personal furniture that have been painstakingly restored. Casa Dominguez is literally, historic Santa Fe with modern comforts. Santa Fe's iconic coffee shop, Ohori's, is across Manhattan Street just steps away. Santa Fe's best bakery, Sage Bakehouse, is conveniently around the corner. The primary bedroom has en-suite bathroom while your kids will enjoy a bunkbed and their own TV. There are multiple areas to hang including the music lounge and foosball den. Outdoors enjoy s'mores at the fire pit, covered outdoor dining and a large sun deck. There is also a dedicated separate office structure / yoga studio.brbrThere are 3 bedroom - primary has king bed, second bedroom has queen and the third bedroom features twin bunks. Two bathroom both with showers - no tub. There is a garage not in use for cars, it has foosball and W/D as well as storage for bikes, skis etc. Bring all your toys. The detached office is perfect for remote work or a peaceful spot to read away from the house. There are 2 off street parking places, but you can park on the street in front of the house as well (just don't park on the sidewalk!).brbrYou can access the whole property.brbrAs much as needed by guests. There is a coded lock so we won’t meet you for check in but are completely available if something comes up of to offer suggestions for our favorite places, activities, restaurants and hikes.brbrThis is a super central location. Everything is about a 5 to 10 minute drive. Or you can walk or bike to a half dozen fun restaurants including Counter Culture, Cafecito, Ikonic…great pizza is nearby too. The Santa Fe rail trail is a block away which can take you downtown, to the farmers market or alternative to a great gravel biking trail to the south.brbrA car is usually pretty handy to have in Santa Fe due to the lack of solid public transportation and all the fun excursions outside of town. This property is also really well suited for bike riding having both secure storage and access to the Rail Trail which is the main biking artery in town.brbrThe home is in a terrific established neighborhood with long time residents. We expect you to respect the local laws around quiet time (10pm-8am) and to be courteous to our neighbors! Its not in downtown Santa Fe but is a short drive or bike ride away. Access to the Santa Fe Rail Trail (1 block away) gives you a walking, jogging or biking artery to all of the city. Don't miss visiting local favorites, Cafecito, Counter Culture, Ikonic, Backroad Pizza or Second Street Brewery - all within 1/2 mi.

The kitchen is well stocked. ... Overall Myra's home was a wonderful location for our remote work stay. You have the entire home and surrounding 96 acres for your enjoyment and pleasure! From a recent guest review, There are hiking trails right on the property, which were great for little hikes before and after work. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! And it was very convenient to run downtown for whatever we needed and also in a great location to get out to some the amazing hiking spots in northern New Mexico.
