Casa Dominguez is a 420 sq ft adobe cottage lovingly rebuilt and less than three blocks from the Historic Santa Fe Plaza. The 18 inch thick adobe walls make the property remarkably quiet given its close proximity to the Santa Fe Railyard District, the Historic Santa Fe Plaza, Canyon Road and The State Capitol Grounds. Casa Dominguez has a kitchen with refrigerator and microwave (toaster oven and counter-cooktop on request), bedroom with closet, and a living room and dining area. During the recent, extensive renovation that included a new roof, windows, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, historically appropriate materials were used whenever possible. Furnishings in the home include personal furniture that have been painstakingly restored. Casa Dominguez is literally, historic Santa Fe with modern comforts. Santa Fe's iconic coffee shop, Ohori's, is across Manhattan Street just steps away. Santa Fe's best bakery, Sage Bakehouse, is conveniently around the corner. Performance venues Lensic Theater and St. Francis Auditorium as well as Site Santa Fe, New Mexico Museum of Art, the Palace of the Governors and the New Mexico History Museum are all less than a 10 minute walk from the Casa.

Our commercial laundry service – the same laundry service used by most high-end hotels in Northern New Mexico - uses unscented, hypoallergenic detergent and extremely hot water. Sheets are lightly starched and ironed at 385 degrees.

The host was very welcoming. All pertinent info was spelled out in a notebook, along with recommendations for restaurants and local sites to visit. Casa Dominguez was clean and appropriately appointed with items needed for more than a one night stay. I highly recommend this casita to anyone looking for someplace other than a hotel.

Attractive property, good location. Walkable to old town, many restaurants and shops and The Railyard. The owners left us a nice welcome snack and beverages to refresh us after our trip- such a nice touch! Comfy bed and pillows. Nice bathroom, soft towels and shower products. The only two items that I didn't realize is that the house is on the corner of a somewhat busy street. We ended up pulling down the shades whenever we were home to keep people from seeing into the apartment. It was also a bit noisy and bright at night from time to time from people's car revving and headlights backing in and out of the parking lot across the street. I'm a light sleeper so the brightness outside was a bit of a challenge for me. The unit was smaller than I expected, but was sufficient for 2 of us to stay. I may just not have read the description very closely online. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice place, very authentic feel, kind property owners and a great location. There were just a few things I was surprised about when we arrived.

Our stay at Casa Dominguez was wonderful! The hosts/owners thought of everything -- making our stay easy and comfortable. The casa is well appointed and we appreciated the thought and respect given to the architecture of the original casa. Don't miss reading the story in the beautiful book they put together! While small, the hosts have made excellent use of every square inch which provided us with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the pillows and towels were plush. We loved the thoughtfulness of the snacks -- a bottle of wine, a couple bottles of beer, crackers and a delicious cheese! The location is excellent as we could walk all over town without having to get in the car, and the parking lot provides a safe and secure place for your vehicle. The hosts provided many recommendations for restaurants and things to do which would be very helpful to anyone unfamiliar with Santa Fe. Many thanks to our hosts for making our trip to Santa Fe a perfect getaway!

Casa Dominguez Sante Fe is perfect in every way. From the moment I walked through the blue gate I felt at ease. If I ever come back to Sante Fe, I'll stay here. I loved the authentic casita feel I got while spending time inside writing at the little table, relaxing on the comfy spacious bed, preparing meals in the kitchenette, as well as the Casita and courtyard. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet, as well as within walking distance to so much good stuff.

We traveled to Santa Fe for an event and spent 3 nights at this property. We were able to park the car and use our feet in the very walkable Santa Fe. One evening we had dinner at Zacatlan which is right around the corner. It was delicious. Whole Foods is quite close enabling us to purchase the few items we needed for breakfast and quaffing. We appreciated the welcome snacks from our hosts. We would stay there again.

We were in Santa Fe for 2 nights, visiting old friends and museums. We found Linda and Lance's historic casita charming and super clean. The surprise of wine, cheese, beer and milk was a welcome gift after a long day of driving. We appreciated the historic nature of this property, as well as the archeological touch in the bedroom (glass covered shadow box of the original unrestored wall). The property is also very close to restaurants, coffee shops, the OKeefe museum. We highly recommend a long tour of that museum followed by a tasty dinner at Fiesta Oaxaca restaurant just down the street from the O'Keefe museum!

Class Dominguez was the perfect little launch pad for all things Santa Fe! We walked most places in town and it was well positioned for getting out of town to Bandelier and Los Alamos. Very clean, wonderful extra touches and quieter than expected for the location. My only tiny complaint would be the shower- low pressure and it’s open design make for a less than ideal experience as someone with a lot of hair to wash who likes a very very hot steamy shower. Overall great spot! Would recommend!

It’s Jan and cold but we were still able to walk to most of our favorite art galleries. Nice touch leaving wine, cheese/crackers, coffee which we enjoyed thoroughly. Clean bathroom with a nice open format shower. Bed (queen) is a bit stiff and uncomfortable. Great safe location near Santa Ge Rail yard. Would recommend for a couple only. Web links suggest up to four people but I’m not sure if this is possible.
