It is available for short term or month to month. We know it is a hassle to move your furnishings for a short term assignment, or to live in a hotel room, or base housing because none of the local landlords will rent with less than a one year contract. This home is tastefully furnished, just pack your toothbrush. It is a much better alternative to hotel suites or commuting for a short term training. br The Master Bedroom has a new king size Tempurpedic bed, with new high thread count linens. It has a walk in closet, TV and dresser in Master bedroom and a in suite bath.br The guest room has a nice queen sized bedroom set with a tv and DVD player.br The third bedroom is set up as a nursery, but could be switched out to regular bedroom for longer stays. br The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances. It comes with all the dishware, utensils and cookware you will need for a gourmet meal, or if you prefer, there are many good dining options nearby.br The living room has comfortable reclining leather couches, new 48 smart tv and high speed internet. We have a dining room table that seats 6, and a high top table for entertaining in the sunroom.br Our home has a brand new refrigerated air conditioner unit for your comfort.br The double car garage has automatic garage door, work bench, epoxy floor finish, attic storage, water softener, washer and dryer.br We have a nice sunroom with gorgeous views of the s=Sacramento mountains, The back yard has RV or boat parking, a storage shed and gas grill. br Alamogordo is the perfect jumping off point to tour the Sacramento Mountains, the Lincoln National Forest, Billy the Kid country, White Sands National Monument or the Trinity site. Nothing too complex :)brbrThere is a train crossroad (not super nearby) and you may occasionally hear the train horn at night.brbrThe game room is in a detached garage that faces the backyard pool area, feel free to open the rollout door to enjoy and get some fresh air!brbrThe staircases are steep, and the head clearance is from 1900s standards which means that a tall person can bump their head. Watch out!brbrFun fact: The main house has 3 staircases. The second staircase in the kitchen goes to the same second floor as the main staircase because, back in the early 1900s, staff was not allowed to use the main staircase, so they built a separate one from the kitchen. The third one is to get to the finished attic where the air hockey table is located.brbrWhile you're here to enjoy the desert vibes, we also want to make you aware of the local wildlife that calls this area home. Just a 50 mile drive on Highway 70 is the resort town of Ruidoso which offers horse racing and hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
