The bear artwork, from the tapestry bedspread to multiple pictures to a giant wall hanging to 3 wall hooks to the lamps, showcases mothers, cubs, and large males in various scenes and poses, including acute tiny cub perched atop an old tree stump. The Wolf Room (sleep 2) next door, in soothing shades of blue and green, greets guests with an ever so soft blanket/spread and various wolf decor, including one picture of an intense blue-eyed wolf looking right at the bed with his penetrating gaze. Main floor sleeping arrangements include the Cowboy Bunk Room (sleeps 6 in a twin bunk set and a queen bunk set), a second family room (known as the Buffalo Room--sleeps 4 on 2 new queen sleepers), and the sun porch (sleeps 2 on a double futon). The TV in the Bunk Room is functional only for video games brought by guests--bring your own hookups. River Chant Lodge is a beautiful home that is located on the river in the Red River Upper Valley. This means it is about 5 miles from the town of Red River. You will have more than enough yard room for people in your party to enjoy the amazing mountain weather and even walk down to the river that sits behind this home. Walk down to the back of the house and sit out on the patio or even jump in the hot tub that River Chant Lodge offers guests that stay in this vacation home. Upon entry, you will find an open and spacious living room. The large windows letting in just the perfect amount of sunshine to take the chill out of the air. If that is not enough throw some wood into the wood-burning fireplace and relax! In the living room, there is a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. This gives the guests the option of watching satellite or movies brought from home. To the left of the living room are the dining area and the kitchen. The kitchen is large and spacious making sure there is always enough room for however many cooks you want in the kitchen! You will have more than enough counter space and storage space for any items brought from home. The dining table has enough sitting space for six people with a couple of bar stools for additional seating during meal times. Off of the kitchen is also a small laundry room where the washer and dryer are located for guests to use whenever they feel the need. River Chant Lodge also provides free WiFi for all guests to use during their vacation! There is one bedroom located on this middle level.
