Fiber optic internet with wi-fi. brbrThe main level consists of a living room, kitchen, dining room, family room and one bedroom (with queen and a twin bed) and one full bathroom (shower with tub). The spacious living room has two sofas (one has a sofa sleeper) and a loveseat. French doors allow access to a deck from the dining room and the family room. The family room has views of the mountains and is furnished with a comfortable sectional. Both living room and family room have streaming TV and DVD player. Flat screen TVs in both living areas and both master bedrooms. All TVs are setup with smart devices. The kitchen is fully equipped (the family loves to cook!) with all the dishes and cookware you will need and as well as new stainless steel appliances. There are also crockpots, 2 drip coffee makers, Instant pot and blender. The dining table can seat 12.brUpstairs from the main level are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, TV, and a small balcony. The newly renovated master bathroom has double sinks and shower (the only tub is on the main floor). The second bedroom has a king bed and a bathroom with shower across the hall. All bathrooms have hair dryers. All sheets, towels, pillows, and blankets are supplied. Unlike many other vacation homes, we supply soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion in the bathrooms. The ground floor has a fourth bedroom with a king bed, flatscreen TV and DVD player, and bathroom with shower en-suite. A full size washer and dryer are in the utility room. There is a propane grill on the deck. **During the months of December through March, chains or four wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended (when it snows, the driveway gets slick). Our house is not on the ski lift shuttle route but is only 7/10 of a mile from the Chile Express, which is the main ski lift.

Whispering Pines Lodge is a peaceful mountain lodge that is ideal for a multi-family getaway. The Lodge is a two-story home with breathtaking views of Wheeler Peak and is located 5 minutes from the Angel Fire Ski Resort. brbrThe 3100 square foot home is located on a two acre lot and features two living areas, each with a 65 inch Smart TV. There are five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, giving everyone room to spread out. The bunk room has three bunk beds and is perfect for the kids. It has french doors that open up to the side yard where we often see deer munching on the grass. brbrThe large kitchen is full stocked with everything the cook will need to feed the crew. A brand new range, dishwasher and refrigerator were installed in August, 2025. The dining table ends up being the hang out spot and seats 10 but we usually squeeze more in. There's a granite table downstairs that seats 4 if anyone prefers a little peace and quiet while they enjoy a meal.brbrThere are two fire pits, one on the front porch and one on the north side of the home. Very nice living area with vaulted ceiling, fireplace and newly remodeled kitchen. There is a king size bed in each of the 2 master bedrooms and the other two bedrooms have two twin beds each. The second master was added summer of 2023. It has a heated bathroom floor, for your comfort. There is also a futon in the loft area that will accommodate one other person. Eight adults can be accommodated in beds and the futon in the loft is appropriate for a child. The den has two full size couches. The deck sports a propane grill for your use and a view of the ski slopes. Walk 50' and ski down the hill and when you return, ski right up to the garage entrance. We have owned and rented this home since 2006 and as a result, we are experienced in knowing what families want and need from their vacation home. brbr**It sleeps up to 10, which is ideal for 2-3 families. It has 4 bedrooms (2 kings, 2 queens) and a kids room with a curtain to close it off (with bunk beds). It has 2-1/2 bathrooms. brbr**We provide the backdrop for creating great family memories in your mountain getaway away from the big city, such as a hot tub on the porch, decks with rocking chairs and porch swings where you can have coffee or happy hour and watch the wildlife and enjoy the amazing views, cornhole during summertime, an outdoor firepit (and we provide a stocked wood pile too) to gather around while making s'mores and telling stories, a log see-saw for the kids to enjoy, sleds in the winter and access to the Angel Fire trail system just behind the house from which you can walk all around Angel Fire. brbr**The house is fully stocked for you with everything you'll need for your stay – linens and towels, hair dryers, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher, shampoo & body wash, kitchen soap, paper towels, napkins, spices and olive oil. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need – even if you're cooking Thanksgiving dinner! All you need to buy is the food! brbrIf you're intrigued, read on for more details. brbrBEDROOMS/SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:brOur house has 3 floors so everyone can spread out and have their own space. The top floor has 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with king bed) and a full bathroom. The main floor has a master bedroom with a king bed and full bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi tub. There is also a half-bath on the main floor. The bottom floor has a bedroom with a queen bed, and a kids' room separated by a curtain with a set of bunk beds. Bedrooms and bathrooms are fully stocked with pillows, linens/blankets, towels, shampoo and body wash, hair dryers and hand soap. brbrLIVING AREAS:brYour group will enjoy spreading out in the multiple living areas in the house. The main floor has a living room with comfy furniture and a gas fireplace. The living room is part of a great room area connected to the kitchen and breakfast eating area – one of my personal favorite times is when you are in the house during a snowstorm – watching snow fall across the valley onto the trees is just magical. On the lower floor is the gameroom where families can gather to play air hockey or watch TV together or play cards, games or puzzles – all provided for you. The kids' room is a fun haven for the little ones with board games, stuffed animals and toys. brbrKITCHEN/DININGbrCreating and eating meals together is another way to create great family memories and the Mountain Serenity home provides everything you need. Our kitchen features stainless appliances, a double oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee makers (regular and a Keurig), blender, griddle, crockpot. All plates, glassware, baking/cookware, pots, pans, utensils are all provided. In addition, we have a cabinet full of olive oil, flour, sugar, and spices to get you started. And on the back covered porch is a gas grill.brFor dining seating, we have several options – there are 2 barstools at the kitchen counter, a breakfast table that seats 4 and also a full dining room with doors that close for privacy and a huge table that seats 8 people. brbrENTERTAINMENT INDOORS:brWe aim to provide the ingredients for everyone to have fun and be entertained while inside the Mountain Serenity home. The gameroom has an air hockey table, TV with DVD player, a card table and puzzles and games. The living area has a sound system with radio and connections for your smart phone to play music that way. The house has high speed internet and wifi. There's also a TV and DVD player in the master bedroom. brbrENTERTAINMENT OUTDOORS:brOutside, we aim to provide the setting for fun family memories. The back of the house has a deck with rocking chairs and side tables – picture your family having coffee in the morning or celebrating happy hour in the afternoon while taking in the mountain air and spotting wildlife in the valley most commonly seen around dawn and dusk. The front porch is covered and has a porch swing and table and chairs – great for watching kids play in the yard or sitting and staying dry while watching a rain shower or snow storm. There's a gas grill on the covered back porch as well for grilling in summer or winter. The front yard has a firepit with stocked wood pile for family gatherings in winter or summer. On the front porch is the hot tub, perfect for family conversations and relaxation after skiing or hiking. Relax on the hammock in the yard in the summer while watching the kids play on our homemade see-saw. It's so nice to watch kids explore nature in our huge yard and the woods beside our house – and in the summers here where the temperature is in the 70s, kids play outside all day long – like when we all grew up. In the winter, our driveway is perfect for sledding (we provide the sleds) and the yard perfect for snowmen and snowball fights.brThe Angel Fire hiking trail system is adjacent to the house and is great for family walks (the Elk trail is directly behind our house and there's a trail from our back yard to get to it). You can walk to the grocery store from these trails and walk all around Angel Fire from these trails. brbrLAUNDRY ROOM/MUD ROOMbrEntering the house from the garage is our mud room/laundry room. It has ample hooks for coats and rubber mats for boots. We have a front load washer and dryer with provided detergent and dryer sheets. There is another area inside the front door with boot mats and a hall closet for coats so everyone can spread out. brbrPARKING/GARAGE:brWhen you get to the house, we have a garage to park your vehicle in, which you'll appreciate in the winter. Our house sits down from the road so the driveway slopes down to the house. We spend a lot of time and expense maintaining the driveway so that it's easy for people to get down and less intimidating for those who aren't used to driving in the snow. Our property manager will have the driveway plowed and cindered after a storm and you are able to request additional plowings at any time should you need it.
