Big Barbee is a short distance which allows skiing at anytime of the day.brbr The open floor plan makes it great for entertaining family and friends. The house sleeps 6 people comfortably with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bath. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs with 2 twin beds in one room and a double bed in the other room. On the main level you have a bath and a half and a bedroom with a queen size bed. The living room has a sofa and a chair and there are 2 tv’s. This lakefront home is fully stocked for all your basic needs.brbrWalking outside onto the deck you can relax in a couple of chairs with an umbrella to have breakfast or just enjoy the view of the lake. There is a gas grill for your cookout needs and a fire pit to roast some s’mores. Soak up some sunshine on the nice sandy beach with a water raft to float on and a pier to dock your boat..brbrParking at the house allows space for 3-4 cars. Across the street you can walk to the Barbee Hotel Resturant which is great for food and entertainment.

This one will allow you to shower (although, a bit claustrophobically), use the restroom, and wash your hands.brbrThe bedrooms house beds and not much more! Great for sleeping, bad for most other things!brbrThe water is potable (drinkable)! That said, it is well water, so it may have earth's metallic kiss built into its flavor profile. It may not taste/feel like the water you are used to having at home!brbrThere is no laundry on-site! A lake wardrobe should look something like: a single swim suit, a pair of well-loved flip flops, two ragged T- shirts, and one sweatshirt :) Who needs a washer / dryer when at the lake!brbrFeeling warm Great news - the home was recently updated with both Air Conditioning and heat! You can now stay cool inside, but I still recommend taking a dip in the lake, pouring yourself an ice cold beverage, or sitting in the shade to stay cool instead.brbrYour rental includes access to 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, paddles/oars, and life jackets!! If you'd like to rent a pontoon or fishing boat, contact the host for the website link (unable to post here). The pickup point is within walking distance from the cottage to make life incredibly easy :)brbrLooking to enjoy the outdoors You rental comes with access to the grill, yard games like cornhole, yard pong, Bottle Bash / beersbee, etc., floaties/noodles, durable lifetime folding tables and chairs, and much more!brbrBoth our family and the prior owners' family cherish the idea of the lake. It is an escape from everyday life's hustle and bustle and an opportunity to return to a simpler time. While WifI and TV are included, we highly recommend avoiding them! Enjoy the simple pleasures of being outdoors, drinking in the views, boating as much as possible (BYOB - Bring Your Own Boat!), playing yard games and card/board games, connecting with family and friends, and once it gets dark, have some incredible conversation around the bonfire.brbr**Please note that the dock is a seasonal feature. It is removed in the Fall and put back into the water each Spring. If you specifically want/need the dock outside of the main summer months, please confirm with the host**brbrThe backyard, house, gravel area, front yard, firepit, and dock are all yours! This is a very large cottage. It is located on an EMS lane with a shared beach area. It does have a sand area and a small swim area for the young children. A larger area for the teens and adults at the end of the 90 foot pier. It is approximately 5 foot deep at this area. Enjoy sunning and fishing off the pier with easy access to the water. This is about 300 feet away from the cottage. This is not a lake front cottage. But just a short 2 minutes walk to beach and pier.brbrBring your boat we have dock space. brbrThe open kitchen, dinning, and living area will give way the the times you will be inside. The largest bedroom is 13x15 with two queen beds, dresser and tv. The second bedroom 11x13 has a queen bed, dresser and tv. Third bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and tv. All bed linens and 30 bath towels provided. See list of amenities.brbrThe east 16x16 deck is located just outside the kitchen for easy access for the grill. This side also includes a covered area for hot days or maybe light rains to enjoy. A large yard Area with swings for the children is a shared area.
