First, Anna Maria Island is broken up into 3 cities, Anna Maria, Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach. The City of Anna Maria is the most northern part of the Island and the most popular. When searching for Beach front rentals, be careful. A standard search of VRBO will Show 300 plus listings. Only a fraction of these are actually in the city of Anna Maria, and even less are actually ON the Beach. Many will be, steps to beach, blocks to beach, or beach view, or beach area and on and on. Make sure you actually select beach when doing your search. Then make sure you zoom in on the map to see which ones are ACTUALLY' ON THE BEACH. There aren't many, but MINE IS!!!!! I can't tell you how many people say they were mislead by this type of description and ended up blocks from the beach. brAnna Maria and it's Old Florida Charm will sweep you away. With breathtaking sugar white sand, emerald water and some of the most incredible sunsets and sunrises in the world, its no wonder you are looking us over.
