It is ideal for people with limited mobility.brbr On the first floor there is a lovely modern fitted kitchen with a dining area and a large lounge with seating for 6 people, tv, dvd player and WIFI. Then on the second floor there is a large double double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and shower and a further single bedroom. brbrCherry tree cottage has a lovely private rear garden, garden furniture, a driveway for 2 cars and a garage. brbr The cottage is in a popular area in between the towns of Bowness and Windermere. It is a 5 minute walk to both towns, however, it is away from the crowds. brbrThere are many lovely country walks within easy reach of the cottage e.g. The Dales Way, Orrest Head, Lake Windermere, Elterwater and the Langdales. The Beatrix Potter Museum is a short walk from the property. Brockhole Visitors Centre with go Ape is a popular attraction and is a short bus ride or drive away. Buses run regularly from just outside the cottage to Ambleside, Bowness, Windermere, Kendal and Keswick. It is easy to get around. Windermere train station is approximately 1 mile from the property. The cottage is now being cleaned in accordance with Covid 19 Government Guidelines. I accept short breaks during low season. brI am happy to consider taking one small well behaved, house trained dog. Please ask before booking. I do not allow dogs on beds or furniture and they are not to be left alone in the property.
