The cottage is in a most convenient position, located at the end of a quite no through rd off the high street, there is little need to move your car with everything on your doorstep, Summerleaze beach, the lovely sea pool, the breakwater and whale rock, Bude canal, shops and restaurants, golf, fishing, coast path, tennis, riding, rowing boat hire, and surf hire shops. There are also plenty of attractions a short drive away, north to the stunning beaches of Sandymouth (which can be walked to along the beach from Bude if timed well! ) and Duck pool, the isolated feeling Hartland peninsula and on to Clovelly. South to picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle, Crackington haven, and Port Isaac. Along with many attractions and fun days out. There is parking for one car in front of the property. At the back there is a small yard that has shared access with joining properties. Dogs are allowed and Bude is very dog friendly with even some cafes and restaurants allowing them in. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust and is a haven for wildlife, providing fabulous walking opportunities. There are many pretty coves and inlets to discover within a short drive.brBude is a fabulous coastal town that once visited, you will want to come back to time and time again. Bude has something for everyone including great beaches for relaxing and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide and cafés to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the Southwest Coast Path offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and a heritage centre at Bude Castle. We have made an information pack to help you make the most of your stay, but we are always available if you have any questions. Guests will have our phone number if you need to talk to us while you are out.brbrWe have one EV charger sited on the main house in the driveway, which can be shared by the 4 holiday lets. The EV charging point is an “Easee One” 7.4kWh. Please request a fob for the charger before you arrive so we can have it ready for you. The cost of charging is 50 pence per kWh. The fob will record how much electricity is used on the app, informing us on how much to invoice you for. We kindly ask that once your vehicle is charged, that you move it and park in your designated parking space, thus ensuring the EV space is free for other guests.
