This spacious detached bungalow is set in a quiet cul-de-sac in Bodmin directly opposite the Dragon Leisure Centre. Here you will discover all sporting activities including a full sized swimming pool with water slide and baby pool. Lanhydrock House, which is part of the National Trust, is a one mile drive from the property or perfect for a leisurely stroll to take in the beautiful views. Lanhydrock golf club is only a few minutes away too where non-members are able to play or you can enjoy the outside terrace area to unwind with a drink and watch the players. Bodmin & Wenford Railway is very close by as are Bodmin moors which are easily accessible via the nearby A30 dual carriageway.brThe bungalow has a good sized driveway with enough space to accommodate four cars and a pretty front garden with a patio area.brUpon entering the bungalow you are greeted by a large hallway and cloak cupboard. To the right of the front door there is a bedroom with a double bed, double wardrobe and an en-suite shower room. Directly opposite the front door, is an entrance leading to the outside area which hosts a large garden table and chairs - perfect for al fresco dining in the warmer weather. A bbq is available for use too. There are steps from here that lead up to the lawn area where there is another patio with table and chairs. This part of the garden is the perfect place to catch the last of the sunshine and see the sun setting over the golf course.brReturning to the hallway, a kitchen is situated at the end of it. This has all the essentials that are needed in a kitchen including a table and four chairs. A large utility room leads from this room. It has a freezer, hostess trolley, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave for use. There is also another back door. From the kitchen area there is a large archway that takes you into the dining area. The beautiful oak furniture seats 8 people. The bungalow is very open planned and there is another archway that leads from the dining area to three little steps into the spacious lounge where there is plenty of comfortable sofas & fireplace.brThere are three remaining bedrooms situated at the back of the bungalow, two of which are doubles (one has an en-suite shower room) whilst the other bedroom has a single bed in it. The comfiest of beds are dressed with crisp white linen and all rooms are tastefully decorated. The main bathroom is also in this part of the bungalow. Good internet and wi-fi is available. brBodmin has a vast amount of tourist attractions as well as stunning beaches close by. It is in the perfect location to reach the north coast (Polzeath, Port Isaac, Daymer Bay, Harlyn, Newquay to name just a few) which is a 25 minute drive away and a 20 minute drive in the opposite direction takes you to the south coast (Polkerris, Fowey, Charlestown, Carlyon Bay). The museum at Bodmin Jail has recently opened and makes an interesting visit for all ages where you can afterwards wine and dine too. In the local town there are plenty of pubs/restaurants and shops. Cardinham Woods has great walks, cycle tracks, cafe and play area. The Camel trail is in easy reach and depending on how energetic you are feeling you can cycle as far as Wadebridge or Padstow and even stop off at the Camel Valley vineyard to experience wine tasting and tours.
