They form a procession, one after another, all of them illuminated for the captain's eve. It looks like a Christmas Wreath at the horizon. One of our tenants wanted to count the ships he saw in one day, beginning with the fishing boats at five o' clock in the morning. 756 ships, he told us, luxurious yachts, a Catalan boat, a Riva completely built out of shiny teak wood, sailing boats of all sizes with up to 3 masts, outboard or inboard motor boats, windsurfing boards and even the garbage boats that look after the sea during the summer season. Don't doubt and don't forget to bring along your binoculars and a powerful camera for exceptional souvenirs! This summer, we found our tenants passed midnight, seated at the solarium railings. The father was playing the violin while the whole family was watching the lightning of a distant, overseas thunderstorm. It was a magic moment.
