We used to accept instant booking through VRBO, but we no longer do. Their system has permitted double bookings and bookings on restricted days more than once. We will review and confirm all bookings quickly, but we need to protect ourselves from the tech limitations of this platform. We still love VRBO, and we want them to do better.brbr*A short note on cleaning fees. We are doing our best to keep this as low as possible, but we don't like short cuts here. The fee never covers our actual costs, which we are ok with. The house is big, with three full bathrooms and a lot of heavy, high quality bedsheets that get cleaned every time. That takes time and it's important to us that you arrive with the house in a state you can feel comfortable with. We've added, reluctantly, some simple check out requests to try to limit situations of excessive abuse. Adding a modest pet fee is an effort to reduce costs for those without animals. We adore them too, but they have a material impact on cleanup costs. brbrThis is the premier big house rental in Sylvan Lake and we have aspirations for regular and continued improvement.
