Misty Mountain Retreat, Epic Views, Sleeps 11

Seward, Alaska, United States

Create lasting memories in the mountains of Seward at Misty Mountain Retreat. With 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 TV rooms, washer and dryer, dining room, full kitchen, expansive deck, plenty of parking, large yard, and expansive mountain top views, you'll have every amenity. Located just 5 miles from town, Misty Mountain Retreat has one of the best residential views in Seward and even better access. As our guest, we're here to help you explore Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park, offering discounts on many tours in the area!brbrOn the main level, you'll find the laundry, an entertainment room, 1 full bathroom, and two bedrooms, each with 1 queen bed and 1 twin. Two bedrooms are located upstairs including a master bedroom with a king bed, full size ensuite bathroom, and deck access. The second upstairs bedroom is located down the hall and has 1 twin bed and a twin trundle, which can remain 2 twin beds or converted into 1 king bed. An additional shared full bath is located down the hall. Kitchen, living room, dining room and deck access is all located upstairs. This home is surrounded by many mature trees and located at the very top of the Camelot neighborhood, offering additional privacy and epic views. brbrThis is an entire home rental, so all spaces are accessible for guests except for the garage. brbrThe property is on a well and located at the top of a mountain, so water conservation is important. We recommend spacing out showers or appliance use to give the well time to recover between heavy use. brbrEnjoy spectacular views from this large home nestled at the top of Camelot just 5 miles outside of Seward. This is the perfect location to be away from it all but still within 15 minutes of downtown and the Seward harbor. The home has a gravel driveway and pad, allowing parking for multiple cars or a boat. The drive down Nash Rd and into the neighborhood does not contain paved roads, so be prepared for pot holes, elevation climbs, and windy roads. brbrPlease make sure you read our directions to the property, as GoogleMaps will get you lost. brbrWe do encourage guests to refrain from cooking fish inside the home. An outdoor grill is available for cooking of your local catch instead. We do not allow processing of fish on property.brbrKylee, Clay and the Seward Vacation Stays team are excited to host you, share their favorite Alaskan adventures, and ensure you have the very best stay in Seward.brWe do encourage guests to refrain from cooking fish inside the unit; however, we do provide a grill for outdoor cooking of your local catch. We do not allow processing of fish on property. brbr-----

Ravenwood Retreat: an Alaskan forest hideaway at the end of the road.

Seward, Alaska, United States

Welcome to the Ravenwood Retreat outside of Seward, Alaska. Our property is right next to the Iditarod Trailhead, is bordered by a glacier fed river, and surrounded by undeveloped public lands. We love this property because there's a large private yard surrounded by old growth forest, peek-a-boo mountain views on clear days, and we enjoy watching local birds nesting around the property. This is the perfect Alaskan retreat for families!brbrThe spacebrThis property has an open living room that looks out on to the expansive yard and neighboring forest. The kitchen is fully appointed with everything you could need to prepare full meals for a group, with a dining room surrounded by local Alaskan artwork.brThe three bedrooms are clean, comfortable, and have great natural light. The master bedroom has a bathroom ensuite to enjoy, while the other two rooms share a bathroom. There are a variety of Alaskan visitor guides, board games, and Alaskan books to enjoy in the China cabinet.brbrGuest accessbrOur guests have access to the entire house and our acre of yard. Guests do not have access to the garage and outlying sheds in the yard.brbrOther things to notebrWe are 10 minutes away from the nearest grocery stores in the area: Safeway and Seward Market Place. We highly recommend that our guests consider buying food in Anchorage before coming down to Seward as our grocery stores are small and inventory can run out without notice.brAt the house we will provide some basic amenities like salt, pepper, cooking spray, coffee, tea, and sugar.brbrPlease remember that Seward is in a temperate rain forest and the summers here are mild if not cold at times. We highly recommend our guests to dress in layers, bring a waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, and anything else that is your preference that will keep you warm. Alaska is not the place to dress to impress but a place where it is very important to dress appropriately for the weather. Although the sun maybe shining, viewing a glacier will not be warm...ever. Keep that in mind while you're packing and planning your outings.brbrSecure keypad access provided to all registered guests 24 hours prior to your arrival.brbrWifi is available and we also have a smart TV in the living room for you to enjoy your favorite shows and movies.brbrIf you drive an electric vehicle there is a free charging station at the Seward Chamber of Commerce. Charging of electric vehicles is not allowed on rental property.
