Wainwright and just a few blocks away from the shopping center, the Farmhouse is the perfect space for visiting family or as a landing pad for those wanting to explore Fairbanks.brbrThe spacebrLots of bedrooms (not to mention three full bathrooms!) make this house a great choice for large groups. The Farmhouse grew over time, so the scale of the kitchen and dining area does not match the size of the house, but that’s perfect for travelers who have places to go and things to see! It has three levels; the living room, kitchen/dining, a bathroom and bedroom are on the main level. The bedroom on the main level functions as an office furnished with a desk and couch, but the couch can be folded down into a full/queen bed if you request it. Two bedrooms and one bath are upstairs, with three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a laundry in the basement. Enjoy the spacious yard during the summer and fall, with a bbq grill, outdoor seating, and a fire pit.brbrGuest accessbrGuests will have the entire house, as well as fenced-in yard all to themselves. The garage is not available for guest use and will be locked. There is space for about 4 vehicles in the driveway.brbrOther things to notebrA non-toxic home with healthy air is important to us. We have house plants and an air purifier to help with this. We also have a diffuser with essential oils. Towels and bedding are washed with fragrance-free detergent and vinegar for a softener; no dryer sheets are used, only wool cotton dryer balls. We are located off of historic Gilmore Trail appx. 10 miles north of Fairbanks. Our cute 3b.r.- 1 bath home can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people and is perfect for anyone who is interested in exploring the Last Frontier at your own pace. We have a large deck located on the 2nd floor and a large front porch, both overlooking the historic Gold filled hills north of town. Great for watching the Northern Lights or enjoying the Midnight Sun! The kitchen has pots & pans, dishes, silverware, baking pans, cake pans etc. and we always provide, with our compliments, a food *'Starter Kit' with things like Bacon & Eggs & OJ plus a variety of condiments, salad dressings, spices, and more, plus some snacks & bottled water. In the freezer there are always a couple of pizzas! *(Gluten /Dairy free options available upon request with advanced notice). So much easier than trying to find a Grocery store before you've even had a chance to get settled in! With a little notice, we can pick you up or drop you off at the Airport or Train Depot. We are Pet friendly & have water & food bowls & a blanket for your fur babies.
