The front-right bedroom (southeast) has 2 duo bunks, Twin over Full bunks. The 4th bedroom has a Queen size bed. We can accommodate 8 Adults if someone sleeps on the pullout couch (must stay below 150lbs on the top bunk). brbrIncluded at our house is Xfinity’s highest speed internet WiFi for streaming (or work…). New washer/dryer. Great room has large flat screen with Roku. Dining/Kitchen has large TV with blu-ray/DVD player, and Roku. An additional portable TV is onsite, too. Gas grill out back with outdoor table/chairs, chaise lounges, etc.brbrOn a half-acre, our home has its own private sandy beach front perfect for playing or sunning, and a pier/dock where you can fish, swim, crab, or just chill. Bring your boat or wave runners! We have a lift on our pier, too. For those who haven’t visited Dauphin Island before, the Bay side water is calmer and safer for families with younger children and our pier has a swim-up ladder at the end, but if you want the waves, you have private Gulf access right across the street! Use our beach wagon to pull your cooler and gear, or just drive over. We also provide three FREE kayaks and paddles for your use (2 singles and a tandem) - very relaxing to get out on the water on the Bay side. We have a beach tent, coolers, beach towels, and chairs. We’ve also accumulated a bunch of beach toys – buckets, boogie boards, etc, for your use - and a couple fishing poles, too. Completely loaded for a great day at the beach.brbrMaster bedroom has a King bed, Master Bath, and private sitting area. Second bedroom has a Queen and shares a bathroom with the bunk room, third has two twins and private bathroom, and fourth has a bunkbed (no one over 150lbs on top bunk). There is a sleeper sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress that is actually very comfortable. We are dog friendly! brbrDauphin Island has so much to offer: great restaurants, beautiful beaches, the Isle Dauphine Golf Club, a small aircraft airport, and an Audubon Bird Sanctuary that has a 2.5-mile trail that empties out onto a beautiful beach where you won’t find a lot of people. You can also visit historic Fort Gaines on the island. There is a ferry that travels between Dauphin Island and Gulf Shores if you’re wanting to explore. If you’re an avid golfer, the Robert Trent Jones Trail begins about 30-minutes away in Mobile. SunChaser is the best of both worlds: A short walk to the Gulf of Mexico Beach and the Mississippi Sound right in front of the house! And even better….the Views are Incredible. There are no houses between you and the Mississippi Sound. A short bulkhead protects the canal, the dock and your boat! The combination of an unobstructed view and protected water for your boat and swimming is rare on the island! There is also a beach just across the canal on the Sound for your enjoyment.brThe house is 1300 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The open floor plan allows you to watch all the action from the den as well as the kitchen. There are lots of windows bringing in natural light. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The 2nd bedroom also has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed that includes a full size lower bunk, a twin upper bunk and a twin trundle bed. A new 55 TV is located in main room and can be seen from the kitchen. Another smaller TV is provided in a bedroom. A DVD player is also available.brThe picnic table under the house is great for eating outside in the shade. There are 2 adult kayaks and 2 youth kayaks for exploring the canals, bays and the Mississippi Sound. The dock has a swim ladder for easy access to lounge and play in the water. An outside shower is there for you to rinse(or bathe) when you come out of the water and get home from the beach. The sandy yard with a wooden boardwalk is ideal for kids to play with their beach toys and sunbathers to soak in the sun. Other amenities include a charcoal grill, free wifi, national channels NBC, CBS, ABC and a multitude of others. Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+ are also available. There is a large pantry for all your groceries. brFor the FISHERMAN: There is enough waterfront to dock two boats. The canal is deep enough for even the larger boats to access. The house is only minutes from the nearest boat ramp and the Dauphin Island Marina. A quick run to the West will place you near Katrina Cut and the West uninhabited end of Dauphin Island. A quick run to the East will place you in Mobile Bay/Gulf of Mexico. There is a large, covered fish cleaning station so that you don’t bake in the sun while cleaning your catch for the day.brThe 12 X 30 foot deck extends from the main room. The deck is close enough to the water so you can keep an eye on your swimmers. There is a gate on the deck stairs to ensure little ones don’t make a fast break for the steps and the water. The sunsets on Dauphin Island are amazing and the view from SunChaser is unobstructed beauty! Sit high in the queen chairs, enjoy your favorite beverage and soak in the view.brThe Mississippi Sound is a wonderful place, perfect for kayaking, fishing from the dock, watching dolphins play and watching pelicans dive for fish. The Gulf-side beach is less than 3 blocks. The gulf beach near our house is only available to residents so there is always plenty of space for everyone. At night, take the kids, flashlights, nets and buckets and “hunt” for sand crabs or go “floundering” in the Sound for blue crabs and flounder right in front of your house.brDauphin Island is packed with activities. Visit the Alabama Aquarium and observe up-close a wide variety of live sea creatures. Visit historic Fort Gaines that dates back to the early 1800's. Visit the Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Dauphin Island is part of the natural migration of hundreds of species of birds. Visit the Isle Dauphine Club swimming pool, golf course and tennis courts. Rent a pontoon boat and explore the waters for the day. Rent a golf cart for the day or for the week. The Island is golf cart friendly and you'll see them everywhere. Rent bicycles and bike the entire length of the island (7.5 miles of bike paths). Take the Mobile Ferry across the Bay and enjoy Fort Morgan on the other side. Drive your boat across the Bay and dock at Tacky’s Jacks for wonderful seafood. Eat at a multitude of great restaurants on the island. Enjoy ice cream or a snow cone at Island Rainbow. Pick up fresh seafood at Skinners Seafood Market and bring it home to cook or ask them to steam it for you. Enjoy fresh pastries from the Lighthouse Bakery. Play putt-putt with your kids.
