VILLA VALGIANO a Tuscan Country House among the Vineyards - 12 bedrooms and SPA

We hosted our entire family and some close friends over a two-week stay in September, and it was an unforgettable joy. Every guest gasped with pleasure upon arrival, and these were almost all seasoned travelers. The villa has enough space to give everyone privacy and also to accommodate gatherings. We had karaoke in the lemon house, yoga on the lawn, wonderful dinners in the dining room, and late-night conversations in the sitting rooms. Looking out of the kitchen windows while preparing dinner was a joy, and my kids all miss that view! Daniela and Paulo were extremely responsive and helpful, and every service we retained e-bikes, masseuses, chefs was terrific, thanks to them. We made memories at Villa Valgiano that will last a lifetime. And we left a little bit of our hearts in Tuscany. A selection of mixing bowls, from small to mid-size, and some mixing spoons, would be great. And maybe a blender? We are serious cooks and missed those tools.

Our group of 22 had the most amazing week at Villa Valgiano. The property is immaculate and well taken care of during your stay. The property manager, Daniela, is incredibly helpful and responsive to all your needs. The rooms are comfortable and with multiple rooms on the first floor, ideal for our older guests. The pool outside is the hit. It bonded our 9 kids and 13 adults together. But, the Roman pool in the basement was also a great hit with the kids. The lemon room was such a perfect space for all 22 of us to eat together. We had Chef Graziela come two nights and her food was outstanding and she put on a great performance. If you have a big group and want common spaces to bond, while enjoying many places to get away, this is the Villa for you. It’s an oasis for travelers. We would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home with beautiful views The air conditioner does not work very well.

A pleasant and spacious villa, large dining and living rooms, the rooms were comfortable and suitable for our group. Lovely views all around. The fact that there are 4 rooms without an internal bathroom makes it very difficult to bring a group. Especially since two of the rooms are right next to the kitchen. It is important to mention this in a more prominent place in the presentation of the villa. I had to give up and bring fewer people because of this.

This property was perfect for our large family. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath. The common areas were large enough for us all to dine and enjoy time all together. The wine (stocked) was a great bonus as was the spa and indoor pool area. One of my favorite spots was the outdoor dining room! Great views and protected from the elements we could all dine outside together with a view of the pool and the Tuscan valley. This was one of my favorite places of all time!

The villa was beautiful and something you can only dream of. The history behind this beautiful home and location was wonderful. The roads to get to the villa are windy and beautiful around every corner. Daniela was wonderful to work with and we enjoyed our stay as a group they have everything you need and more ❤️

From the staff to the natural surroundings everything was just so perfect. We loved our time and wished we could have stayed a little longer. Daniela, made sure every detail was taken care of and made sure our wedding was like a fairytale. We had a minor issue with the water and washing machine, however, this was taken care of swiftly and did not affect our stay. I could go on about all the amazing attributes to this villa, but I’ll just say BOOK this place! It’s amazing:)

Our extended family of 22, including an infant and two toddlers, stayed in this beautiful, well appointed villa in the hills above Lucca during the Christmas holiday. The villa was perfect for multiple couples / families as there were clusters of rooms with a common area located throughout the two story villa which allowed for privacy. Every room had its own bathroom as well. The home and rooms were beautifully decorated. The views and grounds were spectacular. The host and owner were extremely responsive to our questions and needs throughout our stay. The lovely historic town of Lucca was a short drive away. There were markets, restaurants and wineries near the villa as well. The indoor pool and sauna were well used by our group. The host provided many recommendations including a cooking class by Tamara done at the villa — it was a great experience for the group! Also I highly recommend the wine tour and lunch at a nearby local organic winery and olive oil farm at Frattoria Colle Verde. I highly recommend this Villa.

This is the third time we’ve rented Villa Valgiano for our Gunnell Innovation culinary tour of Tuscany and we plan to return again. It’s the perfect villa for a large group. Stunning views in all directions, the outdoor pool and indoor spa are spectacular, incredible kitchen and dining areas and the lemon house is beautiful. Being there makes you feel like you’re living in a movie. The cleaning service wasn’t this time. But other than that, everything was wonderful. Thank you again.

Our family of 22 including my 4 adult children, spouses and 12 grandchildren spent the most exciting time at Villa Valgiano for a week. The Villa was beautiful, the views boundless, the service unbelievable and the manager, Daniela Cetti was better than excellent helping us before, during and even after our week. It was delightful meeting the owner frequently. The chef we selected, was Tamara and she was superb along with other suggestions from Daniela. The last evening will remain forever as a fitting conclusion with entertainment and dining in the lemon room. what more can you ask for. One small recommendation-provide larger wastebaskets in the rooms. Beyond that - MAGNIFIQUE!!
