Condo style villa in a gated community. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, very quiet and well maintained property. Tennis courts, basket ball courts, two heated pools, and a coin operated laundry facility on the second floor. There is a patio with a grill, table and seating for four with four additional chairs available. Sleeps 5. Both bedrooms have air conditioners and there are ceiling fans throughout. One queen sized bed, a twin and full bunk bed style in second bedroom. Kitchen has a full set up that includes a refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, toaster oven, toaster and blender. The villa is located in Boquerón. It is a beach village located in the town of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. The village is one of the main tourist attractions in the southwestern part of the island. As of the United States 2000 Census, the population was 4,963.
The village is home to two protected wildlife refuge. The Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge is a habitat for a number of native bird species, including the endangered Yellow-shouldered Blackbird, also known as La Mariquita de Puerto Rico or Capitán. The Boqueron State Forest is one of seven state forests managed by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources.
Balneario de Boquerón or Boquerón beach is a public beach and resort managed by the Puerto Rican government. It is rated as one of the best beaches in Puerto Rico along with Luquillo Beach. The beach was awarded blue flag beach status by the Foundation for Environmental Education. Other beaches in Boquerón are Buye and El Combate.
