Villa AL BAHR - Luxury House, Ocean Views, Air Conditioning, Wifi, (Heated) Pool

A great property - clean, great pool, close to many things to do. Being able to walk to town for dinners was excellent. Great communication from host, pictures do not do the house justice, the pool area is fantastic.

The Villa is well located with a short walk (5min) to nearest supermarket (abeit small) and restaurants. Being Carvoeiro there are some hills to negotiate, however it is very much worth the effort. Wonderful views and in a quiet area. The Villa was clean with a lovely clean pool. The host was responsive to any queries. As we stayed more than 7 nights, we had a refresh of sheets and towels. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful home in perfect location! Hosts were incredible…made everything very smooth and always took a moment to share information about the area with us first timers..home had us very comfortable for the week and we can only hope we get that chance again. Highly recommend

The villa is ideally situated within an easy stroll into the town centre where there is an excellent selection of bars and restaurants. The pool is amazing and was enjoyed by all. The villa itself had everything you could need and was even better than expected. The owner was very attentive and when needed to be contacted was very quick in responding.

What an amazing location and wonderful house. Communication with the host was prompt. Cleanliness of the house was wonderful. I come back here every day of the week if I could.

We stayed at villa al bahr , in 2023 & returned again in June 2025. On both occasions we would rate the villa to be an excellent accomodation for a family ( 5 adults, 1 child & 1 baby ). It has everything that you need, with the added bonus of panoramic sea views from most areas of the villa

This Villa was remarkable. The sightline of the ocean was breathtaking. Located close to the city centre, with a short walk to the Algreco Caves, boardwalk, restaurants (Primavera for supper, and Earth Cafe for breakfast/gluten free are must visits), and a great playground just down the road overlooking the ocean just 3 minute walk down the street. Bonus was finding the hike aling the cliffside, just to the East of the Villa. Overall, our family enjoyed this place greatly. The young and old loved the pool, and the bedrooms were great for our party of 6. The beach was a 10 minute walk away, amd was a huge hit with the kids, as well.House check-in was one of the easiest I have had, which we greatly appreciated. Fran and Luis were also very responsive.Thanks again for having us, Fran/Luis. We look forward to coming back sometime in the future!

Great property with wonderful view and access to the restaurants

Lovely house with pool exactly where you’d want it to be in Carvoeiro. Enjoyed every minute. Will be back !

We stayed at the Al Bahr Villa for a week in October (2 couples). We toured all over the Algarve, but could not find a better location than this villa in Carvoeiro. Not only was Carvoeiro perfect, but the vllla was located next to the board walk with easy hikes along the coast. But also easy walks to any shop/restaurant within Carvoeiro. Communication with host was very quick and super helpful. They even allowed us a late checkout so we could enjoy our last day at this beautiful place. The pictures in the listing could be better as we found the Villa to be much nicer in person. The pool, the view, the sunsets - a very memorable vacation with friends. When we go back to vacation in the Algarve, this will be the place!!!

The pool was excellent and unusually large. We had it heated which just made it perfect. The naya was perfectly placed to sit and relax out of the sun, but still have a great view. The villa was nice and spacious although to be honest we spent little time inside. The beds were comfortable enough and the showers were nicely powerful. The villa manager Fran was very nice and helpful. I short its an excellent villa and thoroughly recommended

What a charming villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - sitting by the pool with the ocean view you can feel like a VIP for a short while. It is everything the pictures show and the 5* reviews are well deserved. The only thing I would ask for is more mugs/cups for tea and coffee - but there are enough glasses for an army!!! It is so well placed for walking into town, the beach or the slightly out of centre restaurants. We parked the car up and only used it for the supermarket! We had a couple of minor questions and the owners responded straight away. it’s a fantastic family home that our family were privileged to share - thank you so much and I hope we can visit again soon.

Beautiful spacious villa set on a large plot with the most stunning views! We’ve been coming to Carvoeiro for 9 years and have admired this villa on many occasions during our walks along the boardwalk, so were delighted to be able to stay in it. Well equipped villa full of character, just a short stroll from restaurants and other amenities. Communication from the owners was first class. We absolutely would return to Villa Al Bahr!

The location is so amazing! Central/close to everything (boardwalk, restaurants, etc), spectacular views, beautiful and very clean pool. Kitchen was fully equipped, bathrooms/showers updated with great shower heads. The beds were quite firm for us, but this might be a Portuguese norm as our next hotel was the same. The property management was outstanding. We locked ourselves out right after arriving and they rescued us within 15 minutes and were so kind about it! So impressive! Only complaint was the washing machine was only a washer (no dryer) so a bit inconvenient with wet swim clothes towels etc. Clothes drying rack is available though.

Best location in town, panoramic sea views, bars, restaurant and beach a short walk but still quiet and peaceful. Plenty of inside and outside space and we all loved our holiday! Age range 3 years to 63. Pool is fantastic, villa is well equipped. Carvoeiro beautiful as always.

Had a really great stay here with the family. Can’t fault the place. Would love to go back and plan to. Communication with host was spot on. The views from the upstairs terrace are spectacular.
