Lavanda Magnificent five bedroom villa in Carvoeiro

The villa was very spacious and the pool was perfect for young kids with the steps to the shallow end and a deep space for diving. The best restaurants were closer to us at the top of the hill and the coast side walk was beautiful.

Fab location, beautiful villa, has everything you need and more. Seriously could not fault it.

One of the best places I’ve rented. Safe, private, clean, comfortable, well appointed, and modern. Outdoor space is truly incredible.

Very comfortable and well equipped villa. Everything we needed for a weeks stay and beautiful surroundings. Decorated to a high standard. Plenty of space for our 8 guests to spread out and great added perks such as the table tennis and outside bar area. Comfy beds and chairs. Easy 10min walk to restaurants and beachfront boardwalk. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to visit again in the future. If I had to say something and this is being picky, a small welcome pack would have been welcome with some bottled water/small milk so guests don’t have to go straight out to the shop on arrival. Some of the guests in our party would have liked a teapot.

The villa was even better in person than in the photos. Everywhere was immaculate, everything worked perfectly and there was so much space even with 10 people staying there. The location was perfect, only a few minutes to walk to the closest shops and less than ten minutes to all of the restaurants by the beach. Booking process and check in were simple plus the host Katherine was very responsive to all of our enquiries before our trip.

The villa was spacious and well equipped throughout. Outside area was great for all family with large pool and good sun and shade options that accommodated everyone. We travelled as a family of 10 with grandchildren who loved the pool and freedom of large outside area which was very safe. Elite immediately sorted any problems we had, that why I will always use them. Not that we want to watch TV much but it would be great to have the option in the bedrooms. Unfortunately in the first week the cleaning staff missed our first midweek clean and I had to call. The upstairs bedroom had a private balcony, but it would had been great if it had furniture to sit outside and use it

We have just returned from a week at this villa. My partner and I travelled with our parents (all over 77). The villa itself is beautiful and has everything that you could wish for, for a relaxing fun filled stay. The villa and gardens are immaculate and it is in a really peaceful area. They layout is great with lots of space both indoors and out. For us it was important to have both lots of sun and shaded areas outside, which this villas has in abundance. The pool is also lovely with large gentle steps to enter. They also have some pool inflatables for you to use. The kitchen and outdoor bar is equipped to a very high standard and had everything that we needed plus more! The villa itself is in an excellent location and only a 10 minute walk to the nearest restaurants, bars and coffee shops, as well as a small but well equipped corner shop and this is the beginning of the main resort. We also walked across the road (5 mins) to the Trivoli hotel sky bar for evening drinks, which has a wonderful view across the sea. The central resort area would only be a 15 minute pleasant walk for us, but as we had someone with mobility issues this took 25 minutes. Lots of taxis in the main town and you can also call them if to wish to pick you up from the villa. We really enjoyed our stay, the only negative point is that we should have booked two weeks and not one. Don’t be afraid to book this villa you will not be disappointed!

What wasn’t there to like - apart from the legacy of the unexpected storm ?! On arrival the villa was cold due to a combination of its understandable concrete and tile construction, the previous night’s storm, and apparently having been vacant for a long period. That was not helped by a lack of extra bedding, a non-working fireplace and the instruction not to run the air conditioning on ‘heat’. The storm’s high rainfall overfilled the pool and flooded part of the patio up to the living room door - creating problems for entry, bringing water inside or getting wet feet when taking off shoes. However, the company’s response was speedy and helpful (many thanks Mariana).

We had a lovely family holiday with our children and grandchildren. The villa was amazing and had everything you needed. It was well maintained and very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The outside areas were a bonus. We paid to have the pool heated and it was definitely worth it as the grandchildren loved it. We will hopefully return in the future.

We strongly recommend adding a defining marking at the end of the driveway to hilite where it drops off before the keypad to open the gates. Our friend had a bad fall resulting in 5 broken bones from this uneven surface

The Villa is perfect for our extended family, all the facilities are excellent, easily accessible, well kept and luxurious. we will definitely be returning, it was faultless None
