The views from Oceanfront Villa Cascadas in Akumal are breathtaking!

Casa Cascadas was fantastic! It comfortably slept our party of 8 people and was everything we could have hoped. Armando and Andrea were wonderful, kept the place clean, and made delicious meals. Property manager Rhett was also very helpful and directed us to some local sweet spots. Oh, and the view was great too!

Its truly the best location in all of Akumal/Half Moon Bay. It's has the easiest access to Akumal Beach, just short walk on the ocean side around the bend. You'll hear the waves all day. Have a perfect pool on the shady side of the property. 4 ocean view suites with a/c.The absolute best part of this Villa are the staff Andrea and Armando.They make your stay effortlessly perfect. Their kindness, attentiveness, and overall care take the experience to a whole different level.I'd highly recommend having them prepare meals and truly expperience an emersive Mexican vacation with flavors of their culture. This is our families 2nd stay and we are already booked for next year as well. I offered to book at Akumal Bay Spa and Wellness, which is also amazing. All 6 I asked, preferred the Villa for privacy, the onsite staff, and the overall experience.I highly recommend this Villa as long as the staff... Andrea and Armando continue to be onsite, as they truly take your stay to the next level.

Ecellent air conditioning in the bedrooms. The kitchen modern with all we needed and we were greeted with appetizers and beverages in the fridge by Armando and Andrea. Just wonderful and the perfect spot for our family of 7. Better than I could have dreamed of. A gated community very close to restaurants and a big beach. Very peaceful. Thank you!!

The on-site staff, Armando and Andrea, were wonderful with a heart for hospitality and great service and upkeep of the Villa. The location in Akumal is perfect. The reservations and pre-stay experience was first-class. I would recommend that ownership put more funding into the physical attributes and amenities of the Villa. The value for price paid ratio is not favorable. Although the Villa is well laid out and comfortable, it is lacking in some basic needs. Primary example: all of the bed mattresses are just plain worn-out old. The 2 things travelers always want in their accommodations are a good mattress for sleep and cleanliness. The Villa was very clean but the mattress did not exude an upscale feel at all. Some like firm, some like soft, some like in between, but that is not the problem here - they are just worn out. Furniture is lacking an upscale appearance and comfort as well and same with other minor amenities such as coffee maker. Still, this Villa is a very good option for Akumal and our group would highly recommend it be considered for their plans if their expectation for an upscale accommodation are limited.

The breeze of the ocean is spectacular and pool is a dream with the warm weather. Andrea and Armando your caretakers are some of the nicest people we have ever met and they really take spectacular care of you. They prepare wonderful true mexican dishes. Take advantage and have them cook every night for you. Our group of 8 had a once in a lifetime trip we will never forget.

I can’t even really call it a complaint because with the doors open you get the amazing breeze from the ocean but at times it does get hot. Getting to wake up every morning to crashing waves and a beautiful sunrise is unlike anything I’ve experienced. We were greeted with in 24 hours by one of the manager and the caretakers Andrea and Armando made the stay even better. Those two were so friendly and attentive I actually had to hold back tears when we were leaving. Cleaning up after us everyday with a smile and the two complimentary dinners were delicious. Plus they helped to make my birthday dinner a great surprise! I miss them already. The location was great. We were able to walk to shopping and restaurants and Akumal bay with no problem. The beach has snorkeling, restaurants and other water activities. You can even rent a golf cart if you like. The neighborhood is secure with a guard standing post at the gate and we felt very safe even walking around at night. I hope to be able to return again. Maybe when it’s not so hot!

The house itself was simply lovely, perfectly clean, had everything we needed and the caretakers, Armando and Andrea were excellent. The location is perfect to walk to town, the lagoon or to the Pueblo. We will definitely be returning. Dealing with the property company could not have been smoother. My questions were answered very promptly and completely. The owner of the company came by to check on us and was very easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

We have been traveling to Akumal for nearly two decades and this was one of the most lovely stays we've had. The Villa is beautiful with stunning views. Location is ideal with an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the main beach. Caretakers were attentive and invisible at the same time providing a lovely continental breakfast daily and a gourmet meal on two of our evenings for our family. Everything was smooth from our arrival to our sad departure. I'd note that the pre-arrival support which included airport transfers, golf cart, groceries, and massages was outstanding.
