Casa Júlia - Beach, restaurants and everything at your fingertips!

Very good

We stayed at villa Julia mid-July and we had a great time. We were 4 adults and 5 children. Two bedrooms are located on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor. Since we were two families traveling it allowed us some privacy, especially since we each had our own bath rooms. Dealing with Ana, the owner was always a pleasure and she responded to all my emails promptly, she was very accomodating. The villa was clean and we had all the amenities that we needed. We were pleasantly surprise that it lived up to the photos. It was more roomy and quaint than we expected. The villa is in a very peaceful residentual setting. Within walking distance there is a small mini market, restaurants and a local pub. Of course you can walk to Carvoeiro beach but it's a good 30 min walk. Downhill to the beach it's not so bad but on the way home in the summer it's more challenging, especially for the kids. There are lots of beautiful beaches all within 10-15 mins drive (car recommended if you want to explore the area). We enjoyed the pool which was deep enough for our bigger kids, plenty of sunbeds for everyone. We loved the area and Carvoeiro, and we had a great time in the villa. We would definitely go back. We we're delighted with this Villa. Travelling with small kids it was perfect. The pool is surrounded by a fence and lockable door to keep the kids safe and peace of mind for parents. There is lots of room in this Villa and was spotlessly clean. Room for secured parking also and a secured garden also for children to play Situated in a lovely quiet residential area with a fantastic restaurant located less than 5 mins walk beside the mini market. The owners were always so friendly and the communication was fantastic. Would recommend 100%

Great place for family, clean and well kept and safe for children, excellent service throughout

Spacious villa, clean, well equipped and well cared for. Has a quaint Portuguese style feel about it. Small supermarket 3 minutes walk away which supplies fresh bread daily, plus a few cafes within easy walking distance. Close to many attractions, beaches & towns, so a good location to explore the Algarve. Owner/manager arrived & sorted out a problem with the hot water within an hour after we called. The only negative for us considering we had no small children, was the pool safety fence goes across the terrace which makes it feel a little enclosed. Highly recommended holiday accommodation.

Plenty of space. All as described. Owner is very nice and helpful. Great region with very nice beaches close by.
