Stayed Feb 21, 2025We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Hermoso Cariño! The host was fantastic, easy to communicate with, the property caretakers were also very nice, and our stay was five star. Troncones is absolutely beautiful. The rental location is centrally located and walkable to anything and everything you need. Our girls enjoyed watching baby turtles hatching and making their way to the ocean. They also got to go riding horseback on the beach. The beach out front was great and very fun for our kids (7 and 3). It was truly memorable!One minor critique that we have, is that we would would have liked to have known prior to booking is that the property also has a eight bedroom hotel on it and they share the adjacent pool that you see in the pictures. Because of the completely open layout of the house, the other guests could be at the pool and look into our kitchen. So there wasn’t total privacy. Additionally there is no way to lock your property when you leave for the day (Though you can lock the individual bedrooms.) The entry way to the kitchen is a pull down curtain. The ideal way to rent this property would be for some sort of reunion and rent the entire thing. The other guests on the property were very nice, and it wasn’t a big deal but it’s something one should know before renting.
