Whispering Pines By The Bay, quiet seclusion near water and town

The rental had plenty of room and the host Shawn was very accomadating.

The garage and lower level smelled musty. The shower door in the lower level bathroom did not close properly resulting in water leaking out on the floor. The smoke detector in the bedroom closet kept beeping and there was no 9 volt battery to replace in the unit. The house was very clean and comfortable. The yard was awesome and we really enjoyed sitting around the fire in the fire pit. Our overall experience at this vacation spot was very good and I would recommend staying there to my family and friends.(FYI: Our stay was from Friday, October 10-Monday, October 13 not as listed on this review)

Good place to stay.

This house perfectly suited our needs. Plenty of beds, which ranged from comfortable to too firm, depending on the bed. We loved the sitting area in the living room for hanging out. The back yard was huge! We had plenty of space to walk around, play yard games, enjoy the fire pit. The porch swing was a nice touch too! The main thing that would have improved this visit was a dishwasher. Other than that, we would definitely stay again!

This home was a great size for our group of 6. We each had our own bed and the 2 bathrooms worked well of our group. We appreciated access to the garage so we had a place to store our bikes. Nice secluded location with easy access to town.

Great location, comfortable and well decorated. Only small complaint was a bad smell in the garage, think mildew vs mothballs

Everything was amazing

The check in was easy. The kitchen facilities were well stocked with plates, cutlery, glasses, cooking tools. It did not have a dishwasher, so we spent more time handwashing than we were expecting. Not my preference, but not a problem either. Dining table was good.

This property was very clean very quite very relaxing. There were 10 of us ranging from 11 to 75 family getaway. The amenities were fabulous pretty much anything we needed was there if we didn’t bring it for ourselves we didn’t really need it. Your location is good for all the other things to do indoor County. We had a good time. Memories made laughs were laughed. Was good to get away and relax.

Awesome location and clean home with plenty of accommodations and amenities

Came up for our 15th year of our group of guys fishing. Place had excellent parking and it’s very close to Sturgeon Bay. Property was in great shape with very comfortable beds. We brought three trucks and boats and had plenty of room to park. Communication is great. Had a great time!

The house had all you could need, good location, and owner was easy to work with. It does need some updates but is fully functional.

The home was amazing. Very clean and even better than the pictures. Plenty of parking. Will be looking to book again the next time we plan a trip.

The house fit all 9 people comfortably and 2 dogs, it was close to town. The house was very clean.

Such a great weekend exploring Door County! Perfect place to stay to be away from downtown but close enough to get to everything.

This trip was amazing. The house itself is exactly as the pictures show. It was a quiet neighborhood with lots of space for fun activities. Yet it was only ten minutes from downtown Sturgeon Bay. If we take a trip back to door county we will definitely be staying here again!

If you enjoy the nature, outdoor, camping type setting you’ll enjoy it here. As you arrive out back you’re surrounded by trees, a small pond out back, it felt much like camping. My kids enjoyed gathering large sticks and putting up a TeePee by a large tree. There’s a firepit and huge yard where we enjoyed playing some bean bags. In the house we also enjoyed using items like the dart board. You aren’t too far from anything else. There is a hidden gem up the road look close as it’s a small place that does some astronomy stuff, they gave our group a demonstration and we sat inside a dome listening to a presentation which we all loved. The ship canal lighthouse is only a few minutes from here and is neat to check out. I’d stay here again and recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. The property was very clean upon our arrival. It had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay, plenty of towels, kitchen items, coffee available, etc. Nice peaceful location. I would recommend this property!

Just a good weekend for a good friend to get out to enjoy before all going back to school being teachers just a nice weekend. Thank you.

Owners were very quick to respond to questions before and during our stay. The house was perfect for our 4th of July get together.

We absolutely loved watching the nature in the yard! Check out the ponds in the backyard! Everything we needed was available in the house! We greatly appreciated the garage and poker barn space! Eat at Mary's Fishboil while you're there!

We had a great time in Sturgeon Bay. The house was clean and well apportioned. We didn’t get to use the many outside amenities because of the abundance of rain☔️. The only thing I would suggest is more seating in game room. We had seven adults and small pup.

Enjoyed the property, plenty of parking and a quiet location.
