Bridgeview Cottage: A Family-Friendly Waterfront Home in Sturgeon Bay

Beautiful home for our family gathering. Three young grandsons loved the bunk room/play room with lots of toys and Wii game system. Plus firepit near water was fun for making s’mores with roasting sticks provided. Very clean and well stocked. Highly recommend for your family vacation

Bridgeview Cottage was perfectly accommodating to our adult group of 8 for a fall weekend in Door County, located in a perfect secluded residential spot near Hwy 42 Bayview Bridge, a gateway location to take in any Door County activity. We enjoyed amazing sunrises with the views along the canal waterfront. Generous space w. this home, having multiple gathering areas to include main living room w fireplace and abundant seating in 3 season room and deck, even though the October temperatures could be felt. We enjoyed the game room w foosball, natural sunlight and complimentary Door County coffee. Bedrooms were comfortable, inviting and spacious. Property was exactly as advertised, very clean, and the Host made rental and keycode access so simple with great communication during the entire booking. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer!

Enjoyable property, good location, wonderful host.

Property is very nice - well maintained and comfortable. Move in and checkout were both easy. Location was great and we spent time outside in the backyard enjoying games and the view of the water. Owner did a great job communicating and staying in touch. We had three generations of our family with us and all enjoyed time at the property. Would definitely stay again.

Home was probably the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. Great views of the water and bridge. Owner was very nice and responsive. The snacks out were a great touch. The home was perfect for our group - two moms and 3 kids each, for a total of 6 kids. We loved the game room where the kids could hang out and be loud while we spent the evenings in the quiet on the 3 seasons porch. Kids loved all the games available and the Wii. Beds were comfortable and all the rooms had ceiling fans and the water facing ones had sound machines. I took one star off for location only because you couldn’t really walk anywhere. That being said, it’s just a 5-8 minute drive to Sturgeon Bay and it was easy to get everywhere by car and we never had an issue with parking. Would definitely book again and recommend to others.

This was a perfect base camp for our Door County getaway. We hiked, rode the peninsula loop, visited Washington Island, dined, shopped and even squeezed in a wine tour. Let’s start with how spacious this home is, we had 8 adults with plenty of room to spare. As we walked in and we were impressed with how beautiful the home was and the perfect view of the bay. The home was well equipped, quiet and very comfortable. I don’t think the host’s forgot any details. It also had a large driveway, we had 4 vehicles and our enclosed motorcycle trailer and never was parked in. We loved the stay and hope to visit again!
