This place was wonderful. Set right on the water, the view was stunning & tranquil. The home was incredibly comfortable & every amenity was provided! The attention to detail with the handcrafted art that was thoughtfully placed thru out the home added layers of charm & character. Outstanding communication made our experience seam-less and stress free!

Beautiful property and well kept..2nd time there.

We were so fortunate to book this property at the last minute the week before Labor Day weekend. This is a most beautiful comfortable home with lovely decor and all the amenities we could need. Then there is the property located right on Lake Michigan with a rock filled beach (my favorite), picnic table, comfortable chairs, a chair swing and fire pit. Quiet, peaceful and simply beautiful. Thank you so much. We love Door County--hiking, being outdoors, eating great food. We hope to return to The Resting Place.

We had an wonderful stay at this property, which exceeded our high expectations. The property is situated right next to Lake Michigan, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The house itself is charming, with a lovely, cozy little kitchen, a comfortable living room, and three well-appointed bedrooms. Everything was well-maintained, and all the tech, including the Wi-Fi and TV, worked flawlessly. My wife, our two children, and I felt right at home here. The location is ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle but still want access to amenities when needed. It’s just a 15-minute drive to Sturgeon Bay, where we found plenty of great restaurants and shops to explore. We really appreciated the peace and tranquility of the area, combined with the convenience of being close to town. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and we would definitely return for another visit.

Very relaxing.

Nice, new, clean house with an open layout. Loved the design and decor. Lots of windows and a balcony looking out onto beautiful, wooded property, as well as a view to the lake. The house had everything we needed, in a great location. The grounds were very peaceful, natural, and quiet. Beach had great views of the shoreline and lighthouses.

Great quiet space to unwind

We enjoyed every bit of our stay here. The house was very clean, well furnished and well stocked with the amenities needed for our stay. Any concerns that we usually have staying at a rental are not a concern here. The linens are new and fresh and the pillows and beds were comfortable. All of the necessities in the bathroom were provided and were fresh and new. The kitchen was outfitted very well if you enjoy preparing your own meals. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, but the commute to many of the attractions was only 10-20 minutes depending on where we were going. We didn't need much communication with the owner, but they replied to our one question almost immediately. Would highly recommend and will definitely try to stay here again when we return in the future.
